We’ve just been told that due to an oil spill the road leading to Argal Lake from Mabe is currently closed- you can still reach us from Falmouth & Penryn and we are very much still open!

The first of this year’s bat walks takes place on the 1st of August. Tickets are £7 (just £5 for children) and they include your supper! Hot drinks and cakes will be available to buy on the evening ☕️ we meet at the cafe at 7:30 before beginning our sunset walk around the lake!

Have you tried our July special yet? Fennel poached pear and crumbled feta on a flatbread with beetroot and walnut hummus and rocket. Serving lunch 12-3 Monday-Saturday ☺️
What a lovely location.. Dog friendly, child friendly and adult friendly! Lovely to walk all round the lake which was not too rough or steep and finish up with a drink/ice-cream/cake. Will definitely be going again!

My new favourite! Breakfasts are fab - quality ingredients, well cooked and with great service. Cakes to die for, and really good coffee. Location is lovely, and you can do a quick 2 mile walk around the lake to earn a pastry (kinda)! Dog friendly, playground for the kids... what's not to love?
Lovely place to take pause and enjoy some decent grub in the sun.
Love this place! Amazing food, great place to relax but also to take the kids for a run about that's safe.

Great location but its the staff that are the Stars...they are so friendly and the food is yummy! We enjoyed our visit on a wet and windy afternoon and Im sure in the sunshine its amazing. Worth checking out!
