What an amazing experience!! Chris is one fantastic instructor and it is clear that a lot of time an effort has gone into making sure that this experience is made easy and accessible for first timers, such as myself.



I would highly recommend booking This, to see what lies beneath the cracks of the cave, it's breath taking! This experience has taught me to let go of preconceptions! Chris, you were supportive and explained every step from the beginning and throughout! Thank you for making this a brilliant day for myself and Mitchell, on our one year wedding anniversary! A day I will never forget!

The Wild Wookey caving experience is the best! If you've never done caving before and you're not sure whether to give it a go or not - GO FOR IT. The Wild Wookey team look after you every step of the way, the caves are beautiful and you'll have an awesome sense of achievement at the end. Always an amazing day out.

Such an amazing experience. My first time caving today & I would certainly recommend it. Chris was our guide & helped us all the way & talked us through every step. It was great to see his enthusiasm & love for the cave. I won't spoil the experience for anyone wanting to do this but you will not be disappointed. It's more than just a quick crawl through a tunnel. You will get dirty! I was so chuffed when I'd finished. This experience was great value for money. My husband and I booked this last minute, on a bit of a whim after seeing a fb ad, but we are both so glad we did! What a fantastic experience! Admittedly neither of us are experienced cavers, but this was the perfect mix of challenging climbs, abseils etc with some fascinating history chucked in (the instructors (Becca and Chris) were very knowledgeable), enough to get the adrenaline going but all manageable with a bit of enthusiasm and a few deep breaths. We came out absolutely buzzing and want to do it again! Highly recommended.

My 14 year old son and I have had the most amazing 3 hours exploring Wookey Hole on the Wild Wookey experience. It was demanding physically and psychologically challenging. We crawled through narrow gaps, climbed and traversed cave walls and abseiled down huge drops. The views of the caves, rocks, stalagmites and stalactites were spectacular. Chris was a brilliant guide - calm, knowledgable and enthisiastic. Safety was paramount without being over the top. It was well worth the money and something we would definitely do again.

My 14 year old boy when we were walking back to the car said "mum that was the best thing I've ever done with you"! We both loved it and I cannot recommend it enough. I was not scared at any point and did think I would be. Becca is so passionate and I really do think she has the best job ever. I love the fact that there's so much more to explore so this is just the beginning. We loved it so much we will be joining a caving club (Becca's recommendation) as there is one not too far away. Thanks guys for such a great memory for the memory bank.

Led by the Han Solo and Princess Leia of caving we were guided by the light of miniature light sabres (at least for part of the journey) back through millions of years of history on a well thought out and planned mission to the dark side. The force was with us as we clambered. climbed, crawled and abseiled through parts of Wookey (should that be Wookie?) that few have seen before, emerging exhilarated back into the light some 3 hours or so later. We both would highly recommend @WildWookey as a brilliant and good value experience, I'd recommend taking a change of clothing as it can be a little damp, the lockers at base are big enough for a small holdall. Chris and Becca may the force be with you.....

I have been a caver for almost thirty years and during this time I have explored most of the major caving systems in this country. For the last 10 years I have been making videos of my underground adventures which feature on my YouTube channel and is currently the most popular caving channel. Last weekend I was invited to try out the Wild Wookey experience and to make a video of it. I can honestly say it was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It is easily the best show cave adventure in the country. My sincere thanks go to Becca and Chris who expertly guided us around.

I Didn't know Wookey hole first opened to the public back in 1929.

Had a great time on the caving experience today, cannot recommend it enough if you want to experience a proper caving exploration . Crawling through small passages and abseiling drops to the cave floor. Accompanied by the two guides Chris and Becky who were full of knowledge about the cave and passionate about showing us around . They really made the experience that much more fun .

Had a fantastic day today under the instruction of Chris, my wife and I came here to Wookey for our 1st anniversary to try something different and we certainly weren't disappointed. Climbing, crawling and abseiling, Wild Wookie has it all, with a fantastic knowledge base and enthusiasm, Chris filled us with confidence and interesting facts throughout the course. Extremely well priced for the time spent in the caves and activities completed, this is something that I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for a little more adventure than the foot tour through the show caves. It does require some physical and psychological strength in places but nothing that a little bravery from the average person can't achieve. My wife was a little apprehensive before our tour started but Chris reassured her before and throughout, she came away with such a sense of achievement that the grin on her face couldn't hide. Highly recommend this as an add on to your day out at Wookey!

Chris and Becca, our guides for the day were superb. They were lovely people, very focused and had immense enthusiasm for their role. As tour guides they were very knowledgeable, able to give a wonderful commentary along the route detailing the history of the caves and also some of the geological background.

The safety briefing was adequate without being OTT, all equipment required for the day was supplied.

A great experience suitable for a whole range of abilities and ages from teenager up to anything.It's like caving made easier for the general population.Myself and my wife Kerrie were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary here, It was a challenging 3 hours full of enjoyment and laughter and one that we'd love to do again. Rolling around in the dust and dirt, climbing up and abseiling down the other side

It has inspired us to seek out further caving experiences and maybe even take up caving as a future past time.

Chris and Becca have huge plans for the future of the caves, both conservation and expanding the experience for the public and I for 1 can't wait to see their achievements.

If you fancy something that will challenge a bit and leave you with a massive grin on your face and also get to spend 3 hours in great company then get booked on this. It will not disappoint you.

Well worth the money and solid 3hrs of fun! He automaticlly showed his enthusiasm and yet was always level headed.
