BACKGROUND ASSISTANT WANTED!
We're on the lookout for a Junior level assistant to join the Background department on a high quality 2D animation series based in Wildseed Studios, Bristol. This is a paid, full-time position.
The production has been confirmed but not announced, but will share the production values of both Counterfeit Cat and Gumball, series on which many of the current team previously worked.
... The main responsibility of position will be working in Photoshop, taking the linework for a background and creating the 2d shapes (using the pen tool) of the BG objects, before the file is passed on to colour artists. As well as this cleanup role, once they have mastered the show style there will also be background design work to pitch in with. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to pursue a career as a background artist.
