Wow! Here we are again at the end of another fabulous term in the PlayWild Garden and what a finale it was! We climbed, we painted, we imagined, we sang, we laughed, and best of all we played!! Thank you tribe you’ve been wonderful⭐️ can’t wait to see what next term brings.

Our new baby red squirrels are out and about and eager to meet all our Half Term visitors...

Our kittens are becoming a bit more adventurous! Come along and see them this half term!

Happy 4th Birthday to our beautiful lynx, Lorcan and Theron!!
Why not pop in today to see them and wish them a happy birthday! Eurasian lynx are crepuscular, which means they are most active early and later in the day and tend to spend the middle of the day sleeping. This is why our boys are most visible in the afternoon, from around 3pm onward they tend to spend a lot of time relaxing on the large fallen tree in their enclosure.

We are proud to announce that Autumn and Radish are the proud parents of 3 kittens!
The kittens are now starting to explore their environment, under the watchful eye of mum.

Beautiful Poplar hawk-moth (Laothoe populi) found in our walk through red squirrel enclosure!

As it is approaching summer and the warm weather is hopefully on its way, our keepers have been planning new enrichment items for the animals that will help to keep them cool.
If anyone has any rigid paddling pools or pond bases that are no longer needed that they would like to donate, our keepers (and animals!) would be very grateful!
Our otters of course have a lovely big pool to swim around in but they still love new bodies of water to play in. As you can see from the pictures below, this even includes new drinking bowls!
