Today’s sweet treats are deliciously rich chocolate fudge cake with pistachios and and a scattering of rose petals (why not?) and raspberry ripple cake with lemon sponge, lemon frosting, raspberry coulis and fresh berries. Tough decision - we’d recommend a slice of both. . . #cakes #bakes #jesmond #cafe
Sundays call for tea and cake. Our deliciously moist Hummingbird Cake is packed with pineapple, banana and pecans and topped with cream cheese frosting *no hummingbirds were harmed*.
Come in out the snow and warm up with today’s special: chicken & stuffing sandwich with comforting gravy and as it’s the weekend celebrate the end of dry January with a cheeky glass of vino. . #likewediddryjanuary #welllubricatedfebruary #pleasedrinkresponsibly #especiallywhenitsicy

Willi's cafe is a really good place for coffee and a chat. Lovely friendly staff who are very helpful. I really enjoy spending time in Willi's x
What can I say ? Breakfast absolutely beautiful, I had poached eggs, bacon and seeded brown breaded toast. The eggs were perfect just like the setting of willi's cafe. The cafe is a warm and welcome place with a lovely atmosphere, the sound of laughter and conversation. Staff were extremely pleasant and they kept the cafe spotless. I will be returning for another helping of poached eggs.
Went here on Sunday after my bike ride, went with my family and it was a nice place to chill out, good food, I had the posh fish finger sandwich and a side order of fries. Girls really enjoyed theirs. Pity the Men's outfitters was closed across the road, but gives me an excuse to go back.
The best full English breakfast I have had for many a year. Top quality ingredients and lovely service. Highly recommended and I will return at every opportunity!
The best breakfast in Newcastle hands down! Lovely staff, high quality ingredients and freshly squeezed orange juice that's simply amazing. Can't be beaten.
Sorted my hangover right out
Morning Coffee done very well, I struggle to find decent decaffeinated coffee which isn‚Äôt like crickets piddle. Finally, a decent cup and just round the corner from work - marvellous thank you ü§ó
I visited for the first time with my daughter and baby grandson. The ladies serving us were very polite and helpful and served our food with a smile.
The food was delicious üòã and we will definitely be returning soon.
Had a really satisfying gluten free tray bake packed with fruit, seeds and chocolate and a soy caramel latte. Having dietary requirements like this sometimes means your food options are hit and miss but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Mum had a prawn baguette which looked lovely with a crisp, fresh side salad and coleslaw.
Driven past during work for the last 3 years so thought it about time to visit. We both had posh fish finger sandwiches and two coffees each. Well we needed the second to go with rocky road cake and reeces peanut butter shortbread. Everything was spot on. Excellent service.
Beautiful place for a spot of lunch, food is divine, oops so is the wine lol x
Beautiful food! I was the first to try the Halloumi breakfast plate and it was amazing, great addition to the menu!
Amazing food , amazing choice of teas and coffees too, I just love this place , highly recommend ÔøΩÔøΩ
Addicted to this little place, Tastiest breakfast around town ! Avocado on toast is the best !!
Absolutely love this place! Come here at least one a week for brunch and really enjoy the delicious food on offer! The staff are always very friendly. Harriet in particular is always really lovely and makes us feel very welcome! :):)
This was our first visit and will definitely be coming back. Food was very tasty and not over priced. Staff very friendly and helpful.
First time we have been to Willi's. Very nice indeed but the small tables are too small
It has alright food but is very over priced, every dish seems to have egg on it, they should change the name to The Egg Shop. The owner doesn't speak very nicely to his staff and treats them with disrespect from what I've heard, and he seems to favour his friends when they come in over regular customers.
My friend and I visited for an end of exams celebration on Friday 15th June. We chose Willi’s as we have always had lovely food there but on Friday we were really disappointed with the food and the service. I was reluctant to write this on a public forum because I know this experience was not your usual standard, however you have not responded to my other attempts to contact you privately (Twitter, no option to email or Facebook message). Having both ordered the bacon pancakes, we then discovered live ants in the maple syrup. When my friend went to tell a member of staff they replaced her pancakes but not mine, although to be fair by this point I didn’t particularly want any given that I now knew I had eaten maple syrup that had live ants swimming in it. We were mainly disappointed that by this point despite the fact I had paid £9 for essentially fruit juice, no one came to check that she was happy with the second lot of pancakes or to check if I wanted anything else, or a refund. I’m not sure there is anything you can particularly do about it now, but I would hate for it to happen to anyone else and find it ruined their trip too.
