Wonderful experience, Alfie exudes his enthusiasm for the subject through his presentation. Brilliant to see these magnificent creatures in close quarters. Great food and coffee on site aswell.

What an amazing experience. I loved every part of it and the staff was so friendly and made us feel so welcome.

The Animals were kept in he best conditions and I would recommend this for all ages.

I will certainly be going back.

We visited today to meet the Birds of Prey and weren't disappointed. Thanks to Josh and the team for making it so interesting and for all the knowledge shared with us.

The birds themselves are all beautiful and we felt so lucky to be able to handle some of them.

We just got back from an amazing afternoon, The staff are so friendly, welcoming and Knowledgeable, the birds are just incredible. We did not know this place existed until this morning and it is truly a gem. We will be coming back and booking the experiences next time,

The surroundings were beautiful with a nice nature ramble to add to the bird of prey experience and just for good measure we ate at the shop that you walk through to get to the centre whic was also a very nice experience with well prepared food and friendly staff.



All in all a highly recommended day out.

We came for the Groupon 'Bird of prey' experience, and it was truly excellent. Nick and the other staff were brilliant hosts, taking care to answer all our questions and ensure we had the chance to hold any bird that took our fancy. Be prepared for aching arms from the bird handling, and aching cheeks from the non-stop grinning. We'll be back, I'm sure of it.

We arrived at the centre and were greeted by friendly staff at the garden centre and by Willows staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our day there. The birds were amazing and the staff really knowledgeable. It was a really hot day and was a relief to walk around the nature trail under the shade of the trees. All care seemed to be taken with the animals in the heat. We had lunch in the restaurant which was delicious. We will definitely return.

Today we had the most fantastic experience - The Owl Encounter! Bought this special experience for my owl obsessed 10 year old for her birthday. It involved a 2 hour session which included meeting all the owls and understanding their species and native habitats. We then watched the Bird of Prey show. This was then followed by us handling 3 Owls and feeding them. Our "host" was Joe and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the owls. We learnt a huge amount today. Thank you Joe for being so friendly and making the experience so special. I would definitely recommend.

Today my husband and I came for the bird of prey experience which I was lucky enough to win back in February.

We had a truly amazing time, thank you to Joseph our guide and handler who was so full of knowledge and answered all the questions that I bombarded him with throughout our visit.

We were fascinated also by the raven who I think was called baldrick and saw the Little Owl shrink in size when Baldrick was near.

A highly recommended experience and I’m sure we will return in the future.

The kids bought an bird of prey experience for my husband's birthday. This place was brilliant and very interpersonal. It made the experience highly enjoyable and informative. I couldn't recommend this place and the brilliant team there enough. He got to hold which ever bird he liked, in total he held 5 spectacular birds! They didn't leave you standing around too much, they were attentive to the birds, especially on a really hot day like today. All in all a brilliant experience, and well loved and looked after birds!

Had a fantastic afternoon here for a falconry experience. The staff are friendly, so knowledgeable and have an obvious passion for what they are doing. As well as the bird handling with two different birds, we got to watch a display, shown around to meet all the other birds and then had time after to walk around the lovely nature trail where there are other animals, a large pond and some great bits for the little ones if you have any with you. We will definitely be recommending here to others. Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

Great display. The peregrine was at its best. Great owl action and the Harris Hawk was also showing off. Very informative talk and Joseph and his colleagues were on good form. The cream tea wasn't too shabby either.

Fabulous day. Knowledgeable folk - lovely surroundings. While I stepped back from actually holding one of the birds, I was in a position to look around and see the interaction of birds and people.. we absolutely brilliant. And only 75 minutes from us by road. Definitely will be revisited. Cafe next door with lovely people and a very nice pot of tea made the day even better.

Came to the centre as a gift from my wife. Many thanks to Joseph for his expertise and enthusiasm and knowledge of all the birds of prey.

More astonishing was his remembrance of the birds names. We learnt alot about their habits and hunting skills and was very happy to be allowed to handle and feed the birds on the'hoof'.

Will be back with our grandson to enjoy the nature trail.

Amazing day out! Nick and his team are fantastic and they surely know how to infect you with their passion. Everyone should visit these guys and see first hand the admirable work they are doing down there and not only with birds of prey. Thank you guys for such a great time an commitment!
