Please ensure all dancers are ready to dance at least 15 minutes before the published start time of their section. We will not be running around to find dancers in dressing rooms as we do not have the man power for this. (And it nearly killed me today!!!!!!). Thanks!!!

Here are 4 of our beauties from the stunning and large 13 & 14 years lyrical section, all incredibly lucky to be dancing in a Gees Active costume!!! The all did your beautiful work proud Sue!!

We have made the decision to split the cabaret duet & trio/quartet sections into cabaret (modern, tap, lyrical) and song & dance. This will all be done at the same times so there should be no disruption to anyone other than myself & helpers. We will discuss with the dancers what is happening when they gather before the section, if any teachers or nominated person would like to know beforehand, please speak to Lisa or Liam before the section. If you could all be ready a little earlier to give us time to explain it would be much appreciated! See you all tomorrow!!!!!!

**TIME LIMITS** The time limits stated in the syllabus are not just guidelines! They are limits!!! PLEASE check all music to ensure it is the correct length, as stated in the syllabus. Please visit the website to double check the time limits. CHARACTER.... no longer has the extra 30 seconds.... Last year lots of the music was over the time limit which means the section will run late and the adjudicator has to rush or work too many hours. We will be timing the music this year.

PROGRAMMES.... A mistake was found on one of the pages, therefore, the 150+ programmes that were ready to go on Saturday morning are now being taken apart and the page changed, they will be sent out as soon as physically possible. Hopefully today, but possibly tomorrow!
However, all schools have been emailed the up to date timetable/running order therefore everyone entered should know when they are dancing.
... I have had many emails and messages asking me when their child is dancing, please ask your dance teacher as it will be quicker for them to check the timetable than for me to find the entry form, to find their age and what dances and then look it up. It also takes time away from getting the programmes out to you!! Many thanks!! More info to follow soon......

We have now worked through all the entries that arrived before the closing date (in strict order of arrival) and we are already over subscribed! We will now work through a rough timetable and see if we can accept all these entries, fingers crossed. Emails will be coming out soon to inform you if your entry has been accepted and if you are required to make the payment now. We will post on this page when the last set of emails have been sent, so please do not email us just yet as this slows up the process when we have to reply to hundreds of emails!

Please be advised that entries have not yet opened for 2019 and I am currently enjoying some down time before the craziness begins, therefore I will not be replying to any emails until term starts again!
Entry forms will ONLY be sent to school principal or ONE teacher/parent that has been nominated to deal with paperwork on their behalf. This is to minimise the amount of emails/messages/phone calls I receive.

We would like to send loads of luck to Sadie Saunders who starts full time training at Elmhurst tomorrow! Such a huge achievement. We are all very proud of her and will miss her next February! Although, no doubt she’ll come and see us as her little sister Lottie will be dancing. And her brother Oscar will be our wonderful door man again!!!! Sadie has been competing at the Wiltshire Festival of Dance since 2013. Good luck Sadie, keep working hard and keep in touch! 💖 🌟

All over!!! A fabulous week, thanks to everyone that came to speak to me this evening, and thank you for the really thoughtful gifts! On the whole, it sounds like everyone had a wonderful week, which makes it all worth while! Time for bed before a weekend of sorting out lots and lots of boxes and bags!!! Sleep well all you wonderful dancers and families. I will post lost property pics over the weekend but for now.... Over and out!!!!!

All championship sections will run as CLOSED sections today. This means anyone wishing to watch must be in the Hall before the start and cannot leave until after the last (senior) dancer has performed. Please spread the word!!!

PLEASE ENSURE ANY TROPHIES ARE RETURNED TOMORROW WITHOUT FAIL. It will be very embarrassing and unfair to have to award nothing!!
