Wonderful festival. Brilliantly organised in every way... that's from my point of view as one of the speakers!

User

I attended the Jo Malone talk and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've lived in Wimbledon nearly 20 years now but hadn't been aware of the book fest until this year. Great event

User

Great looking stage this year, and as always the days are energetically arranged by the team at Wimbledon BookFest who have really packed in the variety. There's something for everyone !

User

Excellent book festival held on Wimbledon Common. This year we saw Chris Patton and Alan Johnson who gave an excellent overview of their books, discussed past and current topics , were humerous. They answeeed questions at end. There are lots of authors both for adult and children to see from all walks of life. Most celebrity . Within the tent you can also purchase tea, coffee, alcoholic drinks and snacks. Highly recommend .

A great festival with a jam-packed quality programme of events. There really is something for everyone!

The end of the 10th Wimbledon Bookfest was another high. Paddy Ashdown is a great story teller who grips you with his grasp of history. He, Oliver James, Nick Clegg and the Comedy were high points, Jeremy Paxman was the lowest. Always well worth a visit though .

I only went to two sessions of Wimbledon Bookfest 2017, Liz Earle's 'The Good Gut Guide' on 7 October and Nicholas Crane's 'The Making of the British Landscape' on the 15th. Both sessions were expertly facilitated by Jennifer Cox and, as a Geography graduate with Coeliac disease, both were on subjects close to my heart.

The only thing which let it down was the slightly disorganised way that the book purchase and signing is organised. Liz's book was sold out by the time I got to the top of the queue after the session (I was able to download it to my Kindle later). Learning from that, I bought Nick's book BEFORE his talk but while in the queue to have it signed, I was still asked if I had paid for it.

User

A great festival with high quality speakers across a wide range of subjects. The event is well run and sensibly priced. Well worth a visit.
