WAAFA is a forum in which problems encountered by people with disabilities in accessing premises, public spaces and other facilities in and around Winchester can be highlighted and brought to the attention of appropriate organisations or authorities.

This is effected by: monthly meetings between representatives of interested parties, direct contact with those in a position to resolve difficulties (e. g. shop managers, transport providers, City and County councils, MPs and police), holding public awareness raising events, awarding Good Accessibility badges to businesses and circulating a newsletter.
