We offer luxury self catering short breaks in all of our cottages and apartments throughout the year.
Our self catering Windermere holiday cottages and luxury apartments are beautifully furnished and fully equipped offering you a home from home experience in the heart of the Lake District. During your stay at Windermere Marina Village you will receive complimentary use of the fantastic leisure club & spa facilities at The Old England hotel just up the road in Bowness.
For those wishing to bring their family pets we offer a range of self catering pet friendly cottages and apartments. You can easily find them by ticking the pet friendly box when searching for your Lake District holiday.

Windermere Marina Village is without doubt the ideal base to explore Windermere and the surrounding area. The cottage itself was beautiful and spotlessly clean and we absolutely loved sitting out in the morning and evening on the first floor balcony overlooking the marina. The reception staff service was second to none - we hadn’t realised we needed to arrive by 5.30pm on the first day (should have read the welcome email in more detail!!) but it was swiftly sorted and the key was left in a safe location for us to collect on our arrival. Not only that but when we left half our kids’ shoe collection behind, reception ensured these were collected and sent on to us swiftly by post!!! We will definitely be returning.
We stayed here the end of August, two adults and two children. It's a really nice place, very peaceful with relaxing views over the marina. There's a small park which our kids loved to play in and made some new friends, the reception also had some board games which the kids played with in the evenings. It's a short walk up to the town where there is plenty to do. We had dinner in The Boathouse on two nights and the food was fantastic. We will stay here again, I'm already planning a trip for next year.
We loved this place last year and can't wait to return in June for another week. Great location gorgeous food in the restaurant and loved the little bbq area. Definitely a great place to stay in Windermere!

Very impressed with the Windermere Marina Village, the apartments are very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Large lounge with comfortable seating, and good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Great location for anywhere in the lakes. Nice to have a bar and bistro on site.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It is truly a relaxing place to stay.

The Apartments are fantastic and everything you could need for your stay is included. Highly recommended and we will be staying here again. Perfect base to explore the lakes.

Just landed today and amazed at the quality of furnishings, a home from home at Ambleside cottage, although TV bit on the wee side for us middle aged spectacle wearing people. Location convenient looking forward to my weekend at the lakes. Boathouse restaurant is dog friendly great news when holidaying with yr pet dog.
Its a lovely place. We only went for a day but would highly recommend it. I can't wait for our next visit.
It's been years since I've been but I've loved every visit and would love to go back in the summer with our family dog �

Absolutley love it here, came twice last year. And will plan to go back again, cannot fault the apartments, has everything you need, great view from the balcony. Me and my boyfriend stay in the same apartment when we go, feels like our second home. Also Everything is within walkin distance great location.
We have just returned from a 3 night break here in one off the cottages as we have a dog. It was clean and well equipped. It was good location close to Windermere and Bowness. We could also park our boat in the Marina for an extra cost. Staff were all very helpful. Good service and nice food in the boat house pub. We will also return in the future.
