Ultrasound Scanning
Ultrasound is very high frequency sound waves, well above the perception of the human ear so your baby will not be aware of the scan in any way. 3D and 4D ultrasound uses exactly the same technology as hospital 2D ultrasound scanning.
2D ultrasound gives imaging in 2 dimensions and is used in diagnostic examinations.
We are privileged to be able to offer you and your family an amazing and realistic first look at your baby with a unique Window to the Womb 3D /4D Ultrasound Baby Bonding Scan.
Whilst just as safe as the traditional 2D scan that you will have at your hospital, a 3D /4D /HD ultrasound scan can help you get up close and personal with your unborn baby in a way that you never thought possible thanks to the combination of our years of experience, our trained team and our amazing equipment. From a yawn to a stretch, your 2D /3D /4D /HD ultrasound session can give you a realistic first introduction to your baby in their protected world!
3D ultrasound gives images in 3-dimensions, in other words still pictures
4D ultrasound gives imaging in the fourth dimension, giving us real-time movement of your baby in the womb.
HD ultrasound – The latest technology available in selected clinics.
Our Scanning Machines
Our ultrasound scanner is basically a very powerful computer. It’s processor interprets the reflected high frequency sound waves into 3D pictures and adds the fourth-dimension to give us real time moving images. HD is High Definition.
Safety
We take the safety of you and your baby very seriously and have adopted the A. L. A. R. A (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) protocol when scanning. In simple terms this means that we have our scanners set at the lowest levels that will allow us to get great images for you. We also follow BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society) guidelines for non-diagnostic, bonding scans, which means we have lowered the output levels on our machines and do not scan before 16 weeks.

We went for the gender reveal scan at 16 weeks and was an amazing day for us to find out we was having a little boy, staff where all very helpful and friendly and made you feel very welcome, even though the baby was being a pickle and wriggling around for photos there was no rush and sent me out to have a walk about and to come back in lucky he was behaving and got some lovely photos we also brought the gender reveal box which was a fun way to reveal to all our family and friends and love the heartbeat bears something to cherish forever and looking forward to seeing our scan film which was included . Will definitely be back for the hd scan.
We had a HD scan on Saturday for my daughter and we couldn’t have asked for a better service. Everyone was so friendly, reassured us all the way through and explained what they were doing/checking the whole time. They even confirmed baby’s gender for us and showed us it on the screen, pointing out what parts were what so we could be reassured of the sex of baby. It was a pleasure for us all together as a family to meet my grand child. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience, I would recommend this to all grandmums to be it in a heartbeat xx
We booked a gender and wellbeing package yesterday for an appointment today which would normally have cosy £59 but was reduced to £44. From the minute we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome and the staff were genuinely interested in making us feel comfortable. The premises are very clean and hygienic and nicely set up. We had 3 people in the scanning room who all put us at ease and helped us get the best out of our scan experience. My daughter who came in with us was made to feel included and welcome. We couldn't have asked for a nicer service and to be involved in choosing our own scan pictures and being able to access them on a free app on the mobile is a great touch. Many many thanks xxx
Was an amazing experience from when I walked through the doors until I left! Very friendly staff and they were very keen to get a good picture of my baby who was trying to hide. But i still got lovely photos and paid for a heartbeat teddy which is amazing! Would definatly recommend to anyone who wants to see their baby clearer than what the hospital gives you. The experience was brilliant and the staff were fantastic. We couldn’t get a clear picture of our daughter as her hands and feet kept getting in the way so they suggested we walk around and have a slush puppy � didn’t make much difference but we got some great pictures from the time there and a beautiful little elephant with our daughters heartbeat in which is always amazing! Thank you again xx

Super cool facility and friendly staff ! Been there with my cousin for her scan. They definitely made us feel special and welcomed from the moment we stepped in. 4D scan was an amazing experience and they answered all our questions. Extra bits like Heartbeat teddy and 4 D movie just melted our hearts. Their service is second to none and would definitely recommend.

I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve ever had, The ladies were lovely made us feel really welcome and warm.
From seeing him on the screen it wasnt just us getting excited seeing him the people that worked there also loved seeing his little face I can’t thank the team enough for everything defiantly recommend to anyone!

We went to Window to the Womb Coventry, as a surprise for my sister who is 16 weeks pregnant. The staff were very friendly and professional, made us feel very welcome and excited about the new addition to our family. They exceeded everything that we expected. Highly recommend this place. A great range of images to choose from and sneak a peek at the baby in 4D too. Thank you once again for an amazing experience.

Highly recommend this place, felt very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door, girl on the reception was absolutely lovely, greeted with a smile and very friendly service until we left. Everything was perfectly explained to us about what to expect, and we were also offered a teddy bear with our babies heartbeat in for an additional cost which we snapped up - the bear is beautiful and something we will cherish forever. As we went in to the room for the scan we were greeted by 3 lovely ladies who made all 4 of us (myself, partner, mum and sister) feel very welcome and were all very engaging, baby was being extremely stubborn and was shying away from the scan, covering his face with arms and legs... The ladies tried their best and were extremely patient with us, let us go away for a little walk and a sugary snack and came back. In the end we got some absolutely beautiful photos (and a video) of our little boy. Extremely pleased, would recommend to anyone expecting. Thanks everyone! What a magical experience ���

The staff were extremely welcoming as soon as we entered the shop with small touches such as them remembering us each time we returned. They certainly weren’t giving up until they got us some images of our baby- would definitely recommend the whole experience. Thank you window to the womb �

Absolutely fantastic experience. My family and I were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door.
My baby wasn’t in the greatest position to see a lot, but the sonographer was very patient and did a great job at managing to get the baby to move enough so we could find out the gender.
The heartbeat bears and gender reveal items available are such a lovely touch!
I’ll definitely be back for another visit when I am further along for a 4D scan!
