Ultrasound Scanning
Ultrasound is very high frequency sound waves, well above the perception of the human ear so your baby will not be aware of the scan in any way. 3D and 4D ultrasound uses exactly the same technology as hospital 2D ultrasound scanning.
2D ultrasound gives imaging in 2 dimensions and is used in diagnostic examinations.
We are privileged to be able to offer you and your family an amazing and realistic first look at your baby with a unique Window to the Womb 3D /4D Ultrasound Baby Bonding Scan.
Whilst just as safe as the traditional 2D scan that you will have at your hospital, a 3D /4D /HD ultrasound scan can help you get up close and personal with your unborn baby in a way that you never thought possible thanks to the combination of our years of experience, our trained team and our amazing equipment. From a yawn to a stretch, your 2D /3D /4D /HD ultrasound session can give you a realistic first introduction to your baby in their protected world!
3D ultrasound gives images in 3-dimensions, in other words still pictures
4D ultrasound gives imaging in the fourth dimension, giving us real-time movement of your baby in the womb.
4D ULTRASOUND FACT SHEET
4D technology uses sound waves that are out of the range of human hearing so your baby will not be aware of the scan taking place. For good clear imaging we need a pool of amniotic fluid around babies face. To get the very best 4D images it’s important that your baby is in a face upward position However the images of your baby’s face will be affected by anything that blocks or reduces the sound waves or causes a shadow, the umbilical cord, baby’s hands and feet.
Babies position also plays a large part in the clarity of the images. If baby is cuddled in to the wall of the womb or placenta your imaging will be hazy. We can try to encourage movement by asking you to roll onto your side, sometimes taking a walk around is also needed. Our policy is to try our best for you on the day, unfortunately this means we may over run on our scan times. Please be patient every client is very important to us.
Our clinic offers pregnancy scans at all gestastions from 6 - 40 weeks of pregnancy and all our sonographers are fully trained in clinical & diagnostic ultrasound. All our scans are started with a well-being check of baby and if they feel their could be a problem with baby we will explain as fully as we are able and speak to your midwife with your permission.

Our Scanning Machines
Our ultrasound scanner is basically a very powerful computer. It’s processor interprets the reflected high frequency sound waves into 3D pictures and adds the fourth-dimension to give us real time moving images. HD is High Definition.
Safety
We take the safety of you and your baby very seriously and have adopted the A. L. A. R. A (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) protocol when scanning. In simple terms this means that we have our scanners set at the lowest levels that will allow us to get great images for you. We also follow BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society) guidelines for non-diagnostic, bonding scans, which means we have lowered the output levels on our machines and do not scan before 16 weeks.

Went for my VIP 4D scan and absolutely loved it. The staff were lovely and the woman at the desk was able to explain the details of the package which gave us more information, we were seen on time and were taken into the scan room where we were greeting by the sonographer and the assistant. The whole experience was relaxing and calming and the sonographer took her time to get the best images of the baby. It was a lovely experience as we brought both sets of grandparents to be with us and they were able to view the images with us. I would definitely recommend this to any parents to be!
We visited Window to Womb yesterday, everyone was really friendly. You can feel a lovely atmosphere. Scan room was big, with lots of monitors so we could see with my Husband our baby with details. I will definitely be going back for 4D scan. Reccomend to everyone :)
We just attended window to the womb for our gender scan, we are over the moon to find out we are expecting a baby boy � staff are really lovely and friendly, we would definitely recommend them.
We first attended window to the womb in January for a gender scan and was over the moon with the services we received our package was well explained and everyone was so lovely, we recently re visited for our VIB baby scan and was over the moon with the results being over 32 weeks we didn’t expect to get very good pictures however our sonographer and the staff was most patient and although we started off with a very stubborn little boy we got some amazing pictures, since our first visit a HD Live option has been added as an extra and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the picture quality is insane it definitely made it all the more magical!
Today I visited window to the womb. It was a very pleasant experience. Had the Very important baby package and it was so good and well worth the money and so much in that package that makes it worth purchasing this package. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. Was much better than I thought it would be and was so easy to download the photos to phone/laptop ect very highly rated experience. Thankyou window to the womb :)
This company in Ealing and the staff are all so nice and welcoming they welcomed all our children to so they could be a part and have a chance to see and bond with there baby and to find out if they were having a brother or sister. I visited WTTW - Ealing for our 4D Scan, it was such a lovely heart warming experience and the best I could of had. The staff were amazing, they made you feel really welcome and were really friendly. I felt like everyone went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could’ve been. The sonographer and assistant who were in the room with us were lovely and did an amazing job! Thank you so much for our lovely photos and video. We also left with a big teddy with my princess’s heart beat recorded inside, worth every penny!!! Definitely recommend

Had an appointment here on the 4/07/18, I had bad traffic problems but the lovely receptionist still insisted that we came...I got to see my baby for the 1st time....the images were soo beautiful....and the service was great!! Left with a baby bottle a dummy and my babies VIB package!! Everybody was lovely there!! Would highly recommend them xx

I would highly recommend window to the womb, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The only downside to our experience was one of the receptionists speaking to a customer about her birth and what her experience of her chosen hospital was like. It wasn't her talking about her birth that was the issue, it was her negative opinion on the hospital that I'm going to that made me feel she was being a little unprofessional. As a staff member I feel she should be more mindful of other customers around. However, on our first scan the baby didn't want to show their face so we were kindly invited back for a rescan and the sonographer really tried her best to get the best images she could. We got a good few that we were really happy with. All in all we were really impressed with the service we received and I would definitely go back in the future � xx
