4D ULTRASOUND FACT SHEET
4D technology uses sound waves that are out of the range of human hearing so your baby will not be aware of the scan taking place. For good clear imaging, we need a pool of amniotic fluid around baby’s face. To get the very best 4D images it’s important that your baby is in a face upward position However the images of your baby’s face will be affected by anything that blocks or reduces the sound waves or causes a shadow, the umbilical cord, baby’s hands and feet.
Babies position also plays a large part in the clarity of the images. If baby is cuddled in to the wall of the womb or placenta your imaging will be hazy. We can try to encourage movement by asking you to roll onto your side, sometimes taking a walk around is also needed. Our policy is to try our best for you on the day, unfortunately this means we may over run on our scan times. Please be patient every client is very important to us.
Our clinic offers pregnancy scans at all gestations from 6 - 40 weeks of pregnancy and all our sonographers are fully trained in clinical & diagnostic ultrasound. All our scans are started with a well-being check of baby and if they feel there could be a problem with baby we will explain as fully as we are able and speak to your midwife with your permission.

Would just like to say what an AMAAAAAAZING experience myself and my family had yesterday .!! Was welcomed as we walked in and explained everything.even tho I got my appointment time wrong by 30mins they still got me in and we didn’t feel rushed at all.!!!! The best thing I have ever done so far.!! We chose the full package so health check 3d images the lot. ��thanks again for such a wonderful morning .!!
Would highly recommend. Me and my family came in today for the vib package and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly and it was amazing to see our little girl in such detail.
What amazin experience we went yesterday to find out the sex and we r having a lil boy the whole thing was lovely and the staff r really lovely aswell .. Highly recommend
We went today at 16w3d for a gender and wellbeing scan with our other 3 children and everyone was lovely!. Scan was amazing and sneak peek in 4d, lady who scanned us explained everything in detail and was so lovely. Loved every minute of seeing our little GIRL. Dvd we bought extra on the day was excellent price and is well worth it. have already recommended you
We visited Window to the Womb yesterday for an appointment to find out the gender of our baby as our previous appointment at the hospital hadn’t gone as successful. When we first got there the man at reception was really friendly and helpful and then I’m Not sure of the ladies name but she was really good and found the gender of our baby in minutes as well as showing us our healthy baby and pointing out the body parts in detail. We were very happy with our appointment and found out we were having a boy! Would definitely recommend window the womb, we got w lovely little pack and a dvd of our baby moving around. When we left we were given a gift bag with goodies in for free! Very happy with our appointment thankyou very much! �
Thank you so much for an amazing experience meeting our little lady properly for the 1st time in 4d. Wasn't sure exactly what to expect as she has been very awkward in any hospital scan I have had in the past, but she was good as gold and we got some amazing pictures of our little girl.
Was such a relief to have a gender confirmation also as was quite nervous that the hospital may have got it wrong... was reassured by the sonographer at window to the womb so can start buying things with confidence.

So I had my gender scan on the 28th October 2017, I cannot thank the scanning lady’s more than enough made me my partner and kids mum feel so very welcome, and for giving me great news and the receptionist at the front made us feel at ease. Will defo be back again was defo worth every bit of money and the experience of going private is most certainly worth it. Thanks again Tequilla and partner xx
Most amazing experience ever! All the staff were so lovely! My baby was laying awkwardly so they scanned me 3 times the same day to see if she’d moved, then called me back a week later! Got some lovely pictures and would highly recommend!
I Had a 2 scan package a few months ago. This place offers such an amazing experience that you can share with your family. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, instantly putting you at ease. It's defiantly worth getting all the extras like the DVD of the scan and the teddy bear with baby's heartbeat inside! Highly recommend this place to anyone that is expecting!
Had our scan today, everyone was really professional but friendly. Lovely atmosphere and great how everything was thorough and was explained to us. Would definitely recommend �
Fantastic service...unlike hospital staff, the staff here made my current children feel included 100% giving them lots of encouragement to get involved . Can not thanks them enough. Would definately recommend xx
Came today for a 16 week gender scan, and cannot praise them enough. All the staff are so welcoming and polite, really make it special and personal for you also including your other children with you. It really is an amazing experience and couldn't recommend it enough. Found out where having a little girl � and came home with the DVD to show our family and friends!
Came in today 18weeks 1day lovely staff and such an amazing experience � thank you would definitely recommend �
Came here Thursday and was so nervous to find out what i was having and if the baby was okay, the receptionist was very kind and it made me feel a lot less nervous.
She fully explained everything and was amazing, inside the scan room was two lovely ladies, who told me and our partner that our first baby was a girl!�� very kind and made me feel so so comfortable in the room. Showing me in detail our beautiful baby and making me feel so special! Completely love the Experience so much me and my partner booked the next scan with window to the womb, and we even got a free gift for the baby after being told we was having the first girl of they’ve seen that day � really cannot fault this place. Would so recommend! Well done such an amazing team and an amazing, comfortable, and special place�
Came for my 4D scan on the 28th October and after having a camera shy little boy went back on Thursday for a re-scan and I can't thank the ladies enough. Always made to feel at ease, can't recommend this place enough � xx
Attended window to the womb yesterday for the v.i.b scan package. At 26weeks 2days, our little girl was a bit camera shy to start with but staff suggested a walk and cold drink and to come back and try again. When we returned...oh my goodness, such an amazing experience being able to confirm she is indeed a she, and to be able to see her so clearly compared to hospital scans. Staff were amazing and the studio felt so welcoming. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

Amazing had an 18 week scan and gender reveal ��! It was amazing staff explained every little thing they were doing and I felt so relaxed ! Even my mum and my partners mum joined us to experience our little baby - just beautiful xxx
