Ultrasound Scanning
Ultrasound is very high frequency sound waves, well above the perception of the human ear so your baby will not be aware of the scan in any way. 3D and 4D ultrasound uses exactly the same technology as hospital 2D ultrasound scanning.
2D ultrasound gives imaging in 2 dimensions and is used in diagnostic examinations.
We are privileged to be able to offer you and your family an amazing and realistic first look at your baby with a unique Window to the Womb 3D /4D Ultrasound Baby Bonding Scan.
Whilst just as safe as the traditional 2D scan that you will have at your hospital, a 3D /4D /HD ultrasound scan can help you get up close and personal with your unborn baby in a way that you never thought possible thanks to the combination of our years of experience, our trained team and our amazing equipment. From a yawn to a stretch, your 2D /3D /4D /HD ultrasound session can give you a realistic first introduction to your baby in their protected world!
3D ultrasound gives images in 3-dimensions, in other words still pictures
4D ultrasound gives imaging in the fourth dimension, giving us real-time movement of your baby in the womb.

Our Scanning Machines
Our ultrasound scanner is basically a very powerful computer. It’s processor interprets the reflected high frequency sound waves into 3D pictures and adds the fourth-dimension to give us real time moving images. HD is High Definition.
Safety
We take the safety of you and your baby very seriously and have adopted the A. L. A. R. A (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) protocol when scanning. In simple terms this means that we have our scanners set at the lowest levels that will allow us to get great images for you. We also follow BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society) guidelines for non-diagnostic, bonding scans, which means we have lowered the output levels on our machines and do not scan before 16 weeks.

Went for my scan with my Husband and two daughters today.The staff are very welcoming and make you feel so comfortable. They make you feel right at home. The place is family friendly and very clean. Love the frames and Heart beat bears that are on offer there. Absolutely delighted with my 4D scan pics,frame and Heart beat bear� It was a wonderful experience.Would recommend Window to the Womb to any expecting mum looking for that special experience with the whole family.
We were super impressed with our first Window to the Womb experience! The booking process was really easy, with email confirmation sent straight away! I had to call up and change the time unfortunately but nothing was too much trouble! It was a very relaxing, and enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it to all bumps out there!!!! 😀
We visited Hayley and her team on Saturday for a well being and gender scan, and I can honestly say the experience was fantastic, everybody was so friendly and the lady who did our scan was so thorough and explained everything to us. We even got to see our little man in 4D which was amazing!! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! ��

Is the word to describe our experience at this place. My husband and I were desperate to find out the sex after not been able to at our 20 week scan we were able to book an appointment very quickly which we were very happy about. The staff are absolutely amazing, they make you feel so welcome and are so friendly. They made our experience incredible and will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Visited today was a amazing experience all staff was so friendly and made u feel comfortable and kept my gender secret as we wanted it to be till we revealed at home with our family which made the whole experience exciting cant wait to go again when im further on to see our little one again thank u all so much and see u all again soon x
Visited here today with my husband, my parents and in laws. It was so memorable! Would definitely recommend! They even offered me to have a walk around half way through so that baby could move into a better position for an even better photo. The staff were excellent and attentive. Thank you so much for providing a lovely day seeing our beautiful baby girl before she arrives. �
This is the second time we have visited as we went for our gender scan as well. We were greeted by warm friendly staff and a lovely environment with lots of exciting things to buy to make the day special and memorable. The sonographer was very helpful in explaining what we could see and fact that we got to share this with our family was a bonus. We would recommend this service to everyone as is a once in a life time experience and this place is fantastic. xxx
I don't think there are any words in the dictionary to describe how amazing these lovely ladies are! We had our first scan at the clinic at 8 weeks for a confirmation and viability scan. We were made to feel so welcome and were supported every single step of the way. We then unfortunately had a horrible experience where we were turned away by 3 different hospitals and not told a thing so we booked a same day reassurance scan at 15 weeks. Yet again we were blown away but the compassion and reassurance we were provided! We even booked our gender scan at the clinic at nearly 17 weeks to be told the amazing news we would be having a beautiful baby boy! This whole journey has been Incredible! Every time me and my boyfriend come to the clinic we are welcomed like old friends! Greeted with smiles and love! I would highly recommend having every single scan there! I would if I could! The nhs let me down that day but your clinic gave me the hope and the comfort I needed! Thank you so so much! We look at our beautiful scan pictures daily and show them to all our friends! Look no further for a private scan! 110% amazing #teamboy��
