Windsor Arts Youth Theatre Description
Firestation Youth Theatre provides a stimulating environment for young people to develop a practical understanding of the art of theatre whilst making new friends and having fun. We use drama and performance as a tool to help build confidence, interpersonal skills and encourage young people to develop a sense of self. The group will learn the techniques of improvisation and will use these to write and devise their own pieces as well as exploring existing scripts. At the end of each term we perform a showcase to an audience of friends and family.
We have two classes on a Thursday afternoon the first for 7-11 year olds at 4. 15-5. 45pm and then a session for 12-18 year olds from 5. 45-7. 45pm. Each term runs for 11-12 weeks and coincides with the school term. The term fee for the first session is £110 per term and the second session is £130 per term.
We can also offer a free taster session for new potential members.
