Wingroves Farm Shop

Claire's Homemade Cakes are available for order via Facebook or Phone and can be purchased from Glen the Fishmonger on Thursday mornings 8. 30am - 1pm along with a selection of fruit and veg.

The Wingrove family have been farming at Shredding Green for approximately 100 years. We were originally a market garden, supplying local shops and the London wholesale market. We could be found daily at Covent Garden.

Over the years we have had a large number of men and women working the land with us, most of them local, maybe even a relative of yours.

In the 1980s we were supplying at Western International Market which is where we now get the fruit and vegetables we do not produce ourselves.

We stock items from local producers such as farmers, bakers and jam makers to provide something local and different to the big supermarkets.

Claire & Tony started the farm shop way back in 1987, and since then it has moved and grown to it’s current location in the old barn, which was opened by Mr Brian Cant in 2011.

We have excellent staff who are only too willing to help whenever they can and a friendly dog whose main purpose in life is to 'meet and greet'!

Parking is off road right outside the shop so carrying is kept to a minimum.
We are accredited by FARMA (Farmers' Retail and Markets Association), meeting the standards set down for a 'real' farm shop selling its own and local produce.
