Wingz Bird & Animal Sanctuary

Went today to find its now closed to public you still have lots of leaflets advertising the sanctuary which is what I seen and decided to visit maybe you should recall your leaflets it isn't my fault you were shut down to the public
I then went on to go to screech.owl sanctuary which was absolutely amazing

Run by people who care about the animals. Not open to the public but has open days every so often.

An amazing place, shame it's closing it's doors to general public soon. Knowledgeable staff, birds kept in enclosures designed to give them the ability to show natural behaviour. A large selection of exotic birds and and a good few mammals too! Also get yourself a Meerkat experience, they are great!

Thank you wings, had a great time visiting you yesterday. The staff were not just friendly and welcoming but also extremely knowledgeable about the birds and creatures in their care. To the uninitiated it may look overgrown, but when the reasons for the natural planting is explained, that they are nesting & breeding, you realise that this establishment understand the animals they have rescued and care for. My 3 year old had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed holding conversations with the cockatoos & parrots, she wanted to go back today!

What a lovely place to visit! Lovely atmosphere and it's great to see that the owners are trying to keep to a habitat that's as natural for birds and animals as possible! Keep up the good work folks! 😀

Warm welcome and family friendly with a natural environment which the birds and animals enjoy. The owners were very friendly and clearly love their birds and animals and were more than happy to talk and explain things to us. The sanctuary is a credit to them. Will definitely visit again.
