One of the more reasonably priced fish and chip shops in Scarborough with nice staff and reasonable quality produce

Geared up for the tourist trade and not for repeat customers. Portions of chips carry about 25% of the small chip ends that are very hard. Staff with very long hair should have it covered properly

Very good fish, chips and curry sauce. Plus my partner and her child's sausage and chips was very good too. We had gone past earlier in the day when it was busier and the battered fish looked a little dark in colour, however, by the time we went this wasn't the case. Our meals were cooked just right and were nice. We used the take away and sat outside.

Super friendly staff, and good value for money. Only let down was the soup was made by HEINZ! Surely a homemade soup would be easy and more profitable?

The fish and chips from winking willy's are very good. The meal came with a selection of bread and butter, both brown and white bread which was very fresh. Also with the meal you could have a pot of tea or coffee.
Make your way to the upper floor and you get a superb view of the harbour and sea.

I rate fish and chips on how much is left on the plate at the end of the meal and the photo says it all.
At approx £22 for 2 people I think it's a bit on the expensive side but everything is fresh and you get a great view.

Knowing how fresh the fish is (locally caught across the road!) this was a great experience. We've eaten both in the restaurant and had take away and had an amazing time. The staff on the takeaway were very efficient and friendly. Would much prefer to pay a little extra for good quality rather than heated up frozen from others! Highly recommend

Excellent service, even if busy during the main season. My family always use Winking Willie's whilst in Scarborough. It does get really busy, which means it can be awkward if you're in a wheelchair like I am. There's no lift to get you upstairs in a wheelchair. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this 'Chippy' to all, hence the 5 star rating.!!

Great fish and chip shop and fish and chip restaurant next door. Good views over the harbour if you get a table by the window. Lovely fish and Chips. You can even get a special with 5 different types of fish! It's Ace!
