Our sale was a bit complicated and Winkworth were very flexible and accommodating. Winkworth were involved with all three properties in the chain and Nicola kept us updated along the way, seemingly keeping everyone happy! Winkworth have been brilliant throughout the process of purchasing our property. Even when we were unsure on the property at the beginning, the staff did not pressure us into buying/putting in an offer, and instead, understood the process of buying a property is a significant one. All staff I dealt with at Winkworth were extremely friendly and down-to-Earth, with completely transparent dealing and conversations. I didn't get the 'pulling the wool over your eyes' treatment I got from other agents. The team even helped push my solicitor to exchange! Brilliant firm and would thoroughly recommend them and will use again in the future.

As an agent myself I may be a little more critical than most, as I expect a certain level of service. However I can safely say my experience dealing with Winkworths in Blackheath was excellent from start to finish. From Patrick (and the other guys in the office) giving feedback on viewings, to negotiating an acceptable offer, right through to Nicola pushing the conveyancing process forward to exchange and completion. I cannot recommend Winkworth of Blackheath highly enough. From the initial property appraisal up to completion, the professionalism of the staff at Winkworth shone through.
Once on the market, our property went under offer in just over a week.
Nicola in particular was very kind and patient in guiding us through all the necessary steps of the sales process and was very kind to facilitate communication with all parties involved.

Very impressed with Winkworth. Switched Estate Agents to Winkworth and straightaway knew I had made the right decision. Everyone who I dealt with (Steve, Tom and Nicola) were professional with lots of regular communication as promised. No problems at all with the sale of my house and the whole process was very smooth.

The rental department is absolutely unprofessional and utter rubbish. The agent and I have arranged a day to view different flats in the morning. I have someone to look after my child because the agent told me he can't drive around to show me flats with a child in it as his insurance is not covered.

So the agent didn't turn up at the end without notifying me in advance and his colleague told me the viewings booked are not on the diary so they can't take me to view the properties because they have are 'short of staff' and 'busy'. I ended up wasted my time and money travelling and childcare because of this very rubbish and useless agent.

Very unorganised, unprofessional and irresponsible. Cannot imagine what kind of service I would receive if I rent through them.

I would recommend people avoiding it unless you want to wast your energy and time. Rent through some other agencies I'm sure you'll get much better service.
