SHILOH 2018, DOMINION
The Preacher talked about a tragedy he observed- slaves riding on horses and princes going on foot like slaves (Ecclesiastes 10:7). This is an apt description of the state of man after losing his dominion to satan due to disobedience to a direct command of God. Since then, the forces of darkness have continually pillaged mankind. The preacher described this gory oppression of the fallen man thus: So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are... done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter, and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter (Ecclesiastes 4:1).
The good news is that Christ reclaimed our dominion from satan through his redemptive death and resurrection and restored it to us (Matthew 28: 18). Jesus Christ the stronger one has overcome our oppressor, dispossessed him of his armour and restored all he stole from us (Luke 9: 21-22). Why then are many still afflicted, tormented and oppressed by the same forces of darkness that Christ has humiliated and conquered for us? It is because they neither know nor understand the reality of the complete restoration of their dominion (Psalm 82: 5). They are still in stark darkness regarding how to enjoy dominion over the wicked.
We are in a time in the history of mankind that God has set aside to hand over the dominion, and the greatness of his kingdom under the whole heaven to his saints (Daniel 7:27). It is only when the eyes of our understanding are illuminated by God’s anointed Word that we will begin to enjoy the riches of the glory of our inheritance in Christ and ascend to our rightful throne far above all principality and power of darkness to reign with Christ (Ephesians 1:17-21).
All the past editions of Shiloh since the first in 1999 have been noted for testimonies of miracles, healings, deliverances, breakthroughs that serve as undeniable proofs of the manifestation of the presence and power of the Most High God through the impartation of His Word.
