White-knuckle rides and a Real Ice Rink will transform Hanley’s former bus station site into a magical Winter Wonderland.
Entry to the event is free and will be made through a huge festive gateway, there will be timber decked walkways, thousands of lights, decorations, snow lain Christmas Trees, Santa & his Reindeers and a Traditional nativity scene.
A full-size roller coaster and a 60m tall Sky Swing ride will be the main attractions. A bavarian bar featuring live music on the weekends and a food court with Bavarian Swing Grill will also be taking centre stage. Victorian style huts will provide festive gifts & treats.
There will be rides at this event that have never been seen in the city before as they usually only star at Major Festivals & Events
There will also be family favourites like the dodgems and a fun house that is billed as “the best in the UK. ” lots of smaller rides too so there will be plenty for the Children to enjoy!
Darren & Michelle Matthews whose team are behind the event said: “It will fill every inch of the former bus station, Stoke-on-Trent has never had anything like it before. “We are hoping to attract thousands of visitors to come and enjoy the rides, stalls, live music and all the other surprises we have in store. ”
