What can I say, really was an amazing experience for me and my wife as a Xmas treat. I have had the pleasure of eating at some great places around the world. This is my favourite by far, an absolute Stella taste experience, service and staff immaculate. Wine selection unreal, really cannot wait to go back and sample some more delights and taste explosions.

We came to Winteringham Fields as a treat for my husbanded birthday. We booked the couples retreat which included an 8 course menu and a night in the hotel. The food was amazing, every course was so beautifully presented. It was the best food experience I’ve ever had. Our suite was so lovely with a huge bed! And breakfast was wonderful. We even got to meet the man himself - thank you Colin! Perfect end to a fabulous break!! We will definite be back xx

We ate in the restaurant on Saturday as part of my partners 40th birthday.

From the moment we arrived the service was absolutely impeccable.

Three of us chose the taster menu and I have to say it was incredible. I am vegetarian which is usually an awkward conversation in a restaurant. However, I got the impression that no dietary requirements would be seen as a problem.

The chef came up with some stunning ideas for myself and everyone else and I am now looking for an excuse to go back and treat myself.

Tried the restaurant for the first time last night for my husband’s birthday and with 8 of our friends. We had a fantastic evening with the taster menu and matching wines. We were totally impressed. The food was just amazing. I cannot recommend it enough and we will be back. Thanks to the team for a great evening.

This was the second time my partner and i have visited... what can i say? The staff are second to none, attentive, friendly and consummate professionals. The food, again... the 8 course taster menu was sublime (again). In my humble opinion, simply stunning and cannot recommend enough. A wonderful experience all round. Oh, in addition the colombine suite in the dovecotes building is gorgeous. Beautifully presented and very comfortable. We will be visting again!

It was a special birthday for my brother in law and I must say it was the best night outI have ever had. The food was out of this world. The service excellent and beyond. We stayed overnight and the room was brilliant.. I just cannot add enough praise and I do hope I get the chance to return.

I have been wanting to try the food here for ages and both that and the surroundings did not disappoint.

I enjoyed the tasting menu, it was interesting and exciting and the staff were extra professional but also good fun when they realised that I like being playful.

I especially enjoyed eating the delicious food while watching a handsome guy cooking through the window.. What a treat! �

I have been to Winterginham Fields a few times and booked it as a pre birthday treat with my partner, who had never been. I booked the Couples Retreat, which included the 8 course surprise menu. It was fantastic, a great variety of quality dishes served by the amazing staff, who's attention to detail is outstanding. As part of the booking, we also stayed over in a gorgeous room. Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to taste amazing locally sourced produce. It's a real gem hidden away in North Lincolnshire. I will definaltey be going back very soon.

First time here, and was bowled over with the place. The food was amazing, (tiny portions, but hey !! I'm a big guy). The service was excellent, and I got to meet Colin after the meal, which made it for me.

In my line of work as a rock musician, I don't find meeting others in my business exciting, but I love watching "cheffy" programs on the TV, so they're my personal heros �

Fabulous lunch with family

Had the tasting menu, it was amazing the staff are very attentive without being intrusive this is possibly the best food I’ve ever tasted and we can’t wait to come back

Exquisite food and exemplary service. Chose to spend our 25th wedding anniversary here after bringing clients of ours here many times and hearing them tell us what a brilliant time they had. From our own experience, it has been beyond perfect! The 8 course taster menu was fantastic and the service from Ben explaining each dish was expertly done and enhanced the whole experience. The wine we were advised to have to accompany the whole meal through was a perfect choice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed over in one of their beautiful suites, nothing was too much trouble (they brought us an ice bucket and glasses for the champagne and helped us get to grips with the coffee maker), nice to see they provide real milk in its own little ice bucket, a rarity these days. This place is a real gem, we will definitely be returning for sure and would highly recommend without hesitation to all. Thank you to all the staff who served us, sorry we didn’t catch all your names but you are the gems in the crown that is Winteringham Fields!

Excellent relaxing lunch today. Four of us enjoyed the tasting menu, well prepared and presented in a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Excellent food, service, wine and accomodation. The price reflects the outstanding experience and a great place that special meal. Definitely would visit again.
