Due to incredibly high temperatures forecast this week, there is a huge possibility all clients will be on lock down, garden let out and play only, if you have a pool please could you leave it out, I have treat toys for garden play, for those dogs on doggy diets ill leave a note with the weight of food I have put in the treat toys. Leading the pack has a space for another full time client (due to a clients owner now retiring) Dog walks, trips out to the beach, Country side walks. Price per hour is 12 pounds for one dog which covers my hourly rate plus insurance. Fully insured including van insurance for pet transport too.

I'm seeing more and more local dog walkers insisting their clients dogs are fully vaccinated and up to date with chemical and flea treatments. I would just like to point out a few things, over vaccination kills!. Chemical wormer and chemical flea treatments can also kill.

... Boosters are not neccesary, you can not boost immunity. It's either there or it isn't.
Fact, vaccines and chemical flea and wormers can and do cause seizures and immune meditated conditions and diseases. Titre test first.
And remember if you have boostered or given the kennel cough vaccine your pet should stay in its own garden for 2 to 3 weeks afterwards, vaccine shed spreads the diseases and viruses your trying to prevent.

From January 2019 there will be an increase in prices to £10.00 per hour. This is to cover insurance increases.

Polite reminder the heat has made dog walks for any breed dangerous this week. Walks have been switched to garden play for an hour and or training. I apologise if this causes any inconvenience, but the welfare and health of your dog is extremely important and is my responsibility for the hour your pet is in my care. If you find you are in any way dissatisfied with my decision then you are free to seek someone else to provide their exercise and care. Regards Bev

Can I politely remind customers that payment for dog walking is due at the end of every week. I am facing 65 pounds of bank charges this month because customers haven't paid for my services. Thankyou

We are on official shut down from Friday the 22nd December until January 2nd 2018. Have a fabulous Christmas break everyone. And please remember to keep cooked bones, Christmas pudding, nuts and chocolate away from your furry friends.

Can you please note that aside from pet/house sitting. I don't work Saturday or Sunday unless booked at least a week in advance. I own 14 of my own dogs and weekends are precious time spent with them

Leading the pack will be organising interactive play sessions for the hotter days when its far to warm for walks, I have several treat puzzle toys which are suitable for using frozen fruit with as well as normal dog treats, plus a doggy pool I can transport, If your dog has special dietary requirements these can be catered for. On cooler days there will also be beach trips too.

Leading the pack has a vacancy for a husky savvy dog Walker based in the hull area. Part time only. Must have own transport. You will need to travel to Driffield for an interview and assessment. You will be classed as self employed and must be prepared to sort your own insurance.

Whilst out and about on walks there are times when I take a photo of your dogs. A cheeky smile. A moment of socialisation. Or with an elderly dog happy days. I'm not just a lady who pops in and grabs a lead and trudges out the door, I get a happy greeting and a waggy tail. I break up the day until you get home. I take the same care of your dogs as I do my own. My new client contracts that are going to be delivered contain a permission slip for permission to post the odd photograph to this page. I received a heads up this morning about a new client I was due to visit this afternoon. Unfortunately the dog has suspected kennel cough. Thankfully I found out before I visited. I'm in contact with over 20 dogs a day. Some my own. My clients dogs and dogs we meet out on walks. Kennel cough can be brought in on shoes and clothes. It isn't just a doggy cold it can be fatal to dogs who are elderly, young puppies and dogs with compromised immune systems. I have a dog who i...s permanently on steroids. Two of my clients have elderly dogs. And when I phone to explain that dogs with kennel cough need to be kept in quarantine in the home and not walked. I do not appreciate being sworn at and told to man the **** up. That's a lab that certainly won't be added to my books! Keep your infected dogs in! Away from other dogs and stop spreading germs. If your dog does come down with kennel cough. I can put strict measures in place so they can still have garden let outs. It involves change of clothes and shoes. And hitting the shower in-between your dog and my next. Please give me warning if you even suspect your dog has kennel cough. The last case of kennel cough we had knocked several of my dogs for six and cost me over 400 quid in treatments. I've avoided kennel cough for 2 years now. Please be a responsible dog owner.
