About Wirral Archers

Wirral Archers are friendly active club, with members of all ages, based in Wallasey. We cater for recurve, barebow, compound and longbow archers

Wirral Archers Description

Founded in 1858, Birkenhead Park, we are the oldest archery club in the Wirral. We cater for all archers of Barebow, Longbow, Recurve and Compound bows.

During the First World War the lady members kept the club going however, this was not possible during the second World War. In 1947 the club was reformed by Colonel Trueman, Messrs Hubert Morris and Tom Howard.

The club has shot at various locations on the Wirral, including Gayton, Thornton Hough, Birkenhead, Wallasey, and currently, at New Brighton Rugby Club, Reeds Lane.

If you are a secret Robin Hood, waiting to be unlocked, or simply an experienced member of Wirral Archers or another club, this Facebook page is designed for you and your needs.
