A massive £2,200 was raised for MIND, the College charity, at a College Charity Race Night organised by Jo and Julie from hospitality and catering. Jo and Julie are bravely cycling through India to raise even more money for this worthy cause!
Special thanks to staff who helped the evening run smoothly by providing music, preparing food and loaning equipment. Work colleagues, family and friends also donated prizes and gifts.... The evening was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended!

It was great to be back in Woodchurch High School again today, delivering an assembly presentation to Year 11 as they consider their future options. Some staff and students were surprised by the range and diversity of the courses and qualifications we offer. They were also impressed by our outstanding facilities.

Ethan Briscoe has progressed from an Intermediate to Higher Level Apprenticeship as a Laboratory and Science Technician with Wirral Met College. He has been working as a lab technician in Wirral and Chester microbiology services for the NHS. Ethan said, “I have enjoyed every moment of my apprenticeship”.

Anthony Brown studied art and design at Wirral Met and is now a self-employed professional artist. Anthony started his career working within the magazine publishing industry as a graphic designer/Illustrator until becoming an artist. His clients include Bloomingdales, the BBC and Anthony was the merchandise and brand manager of ‘The Beatles Story’. He has also completed artwork that has been used in the new development of Lime Street.
