About Wirral Virtual Transport Museum

Wirral Transport Museum

Wirral Virtual Transport Museum Description

Wirral Transport Museum was a working museum and most all of the completed motor vehicle projects were available to ride on during the course of each year, this is now not the case. There is also a large collection of bygone everyday items on display and a 27 foot model railway introduced by Bob Tennant who provided the orginal funding via bus funds and donation. The current lay-out, which was much improved from the orginal is to the credit of John Harrison, who also introduced a minature tramway. In 2014 a Community Trust took over the running of the actual Taylor Street venue and this facebook page became disassociated with the actual operation and management of Wirral Transport Museum, changing it's name to Wirral Virtual Transport Museum.
