I am a small hobby breeder of pedigree Cocker spaniels.
I breed for quality, type and temperament, but my dogs are first and foremost family pets.
Wissant Cocker Spaniels Description
I first fell in love with cocker spaniels as an 8 year old when my friends mum introduced me to dog showing and I got my first dog of my own a couple of years later a beautiful gold girl Annashonn soft centre (Cassie) I was very involved in junior handling and went on to handle other breeds including standard poodles, irish water spaniels and field spaniels.
I wasn't as involved with dogs when i got married and had my children through lack of time but we've always had at least 1 cocker in the house.
I've become much more involved in the dog world again in the last few years as the children have got older and have been breeding the occaisional litter.
My dogs are all pets who live in the house and any puppies we have are brought up as part of the family so make fantastic family pets.

Fab day at bath champ show Nell came first in junior and Delilah came first in novice and first in special beginners and best special beginner in breed. That's the girls now all qualified for crufts next year x
Lovely day at Yorkshire cocker spaniel club show today Nell got a 3rd Delilah got a 2nd and Skyla got a 1st which was fantastic after not being shown for a few months x

Well dogs are bathed and groomed cars packed all ready for crufts tomorrow x
Well we have been waiting for Skyla to come into season since December and it has Finally happened. So we will be going for some visits with the very handsome Mario in a couple of weeks time then keep our fingers and toes crossed lol xx

Great day today at Boston champ show Delilah got 3rd in a nice yearling class and Nell got a third in puppy and a fourth in junior which qualifies her for crufts this year so she will be going to crufts along with Delilah in march. Skyla has qualified also but is due in season anyday so will hopefully be an expectant mum by then x

Well what a year for Wissant cockers we've had cruft qualifications, stud book numbers, best of breeds and best puppy of breeds, group placings and a reserve best in show lets hope next year carries on the same. Unfortunately no puppies for us again this year but hopefully some in the near future. So heres wishing all our wissant family a very merry christmas and a happy new year xx
