We've been here 5 or 6 times in the last few years. We really like it and so do our mum and dad. It's a great place to unwind. We have an 8 year old who also lives it. It's a friendly place with an emphasis on family. If you are after 5* treatment and pamper sessions it's not for you. Withernsea is a a very quaint town, it's got all you would need in a very small area and is 2 mins drive away or 15-20 mins walk. If you walk along the front the views can be breath taking. We use the swimming pool and have never found the booking system a problem, just means you plan around it. We've eaten at the complex and the food is standard pub grub... It's ok .. slightly pricey for the area but ok. Do your homework.. look for other place to eat. There are a couple of local takeaways that deliver and know the site well. The caravans have been great .. we take a pet so we can't get the real special ones. The place is great for dogs too .. walks are all flat and easy access. One last mention .... If you can't be bothered cooking all the time ... There is a local cafe called sunshine CAF .... Go there ... Just go.

User

The beach was just a short walk away. Not a lot there, to be honest wasnt expecting much. I assume you need to go right into Withernsea. I can't comment on the facilities as I rarely use them at any holiday park. I love the caravan it's very big, and comfy. Having 2 dog's you always get the basic van. I can't fault this van at all. I like the location. It's a good base for exploring the east coast. I would definitely come back again.

User

Me and my 6 year old daughter stayed here from 27/4-30/4 and could not fault the place at all! The Troupers were fantastic with all the kids, the food was excellent and all the staff were brilliant. Although the entertainment complex wasn’t massive there was still enough to do in the time we stayed. The caravan was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Can safely say that me and Hollie will return at some point in the near future.

User

Just returned from a weekend trip with our touring caravan, 5yo & 9mo. The site was small but had everything we needed, 2 play areas, pool( we didn’t get time to use!), entertainment , and withernsea itself is a lovely little seaside town. The toilet & showers are perfectly fine ( with hairdryer too!) although my husband said the men’s was quite messy Saturday morning. The staff were all super helpful & friendly, we feel like we’ve had a really great holiday in our short weekend! We will return!

User

Just back from a weekend away with our 3 children, family friends and their 2 children (ages 1-8). We have had a fantastic time! The park had everything we needed and with the beach just over the road it was perfect!

Withernsea itself has lots of seaside charm without the push to be spending money on arcades/rides.

The children particularly liked the music/karaoke that was taking place on village green on Sunday.

All the troupers were very entertaining and got everyone up and involved.

All the staff were very polite and happy to help.

Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

User

I absolutely loved it, my sister as just bought a caravan there. It was a lovely break, it's such a beautiful, clean and tidy and homely place. People are so friendly. The clubhouse staff was so pleasant and entertaining. I can't wait till my next visit. Love the shops and markets and crafts too. A very beautiful place. Highly recommend it.

User

Got back yesterday from a weeks stay, caravan was spotless the site was spotless couldn’t fault anything, the kids entertainment was brilliant my 2 girls loved it and couldn’t wait to go back the next day to dance away with the troupers. We enjoyed it that much we’ve booked to come back again in may next year but for 10 days this time as 7 days went to quick.

User

A big thumbs up from start to finish. We took the scenic route to the park so for us that meant a 6 and a half hour drive from Surrey.

Arrived to find the entrance to the park inviting, the guys on the reception were welcoming and friendly and quickly sorted our caravan key out and gave us our directions.

We were really close to all the entertainment which is always a bonus. Caravan was spotless, a small issue of drainage in the bathroom but that was soon rectified.

We are a couple of times in the restaurant and found the food to be to an excellent standard. A good selection of lagers and ciders on tap and at reasonable prices, we haven’t had that at some parks we have stayed at recently.

And last but by no means least, special applause for the entertainment team, I’m sure it can’t be easy only being the 3 of them but Josh leads the way and Kirsten and Dan are both great too.

I wasn’t feeling well the first half of the week but that didn’t stop me from thoroughly enjoying myself.

We shall be back

User

We have just got home from a week here, gutted that our holiday ended on a low as someone has stolen my husbands phone last night out the clubhouse. He has thought back and the only time he left his phone unattended was when he rushed over to my 3 year old who had got scared of the loud music and started holding her ears and crying on the dancefloor which was literally 3 steps away from our table. Been ringing the phone and someone is cutting it off, my husbands facebook has also been active since it went missing. Shame it wasn't found by some of the nice people we met, instead by someone who will sell it, not bothered about the phone, just gutted we have lost lots of photos and videos of our girls and hate the idea of a stranger looking through them!:( if anyone has any info the phone is a samsung j5 , has now been blocked unfortunately due to no one doing the decent thing and handing it in

Other then that staff was great, my girls really enjoyed sparkles birthday

User

Arrived on a great sunny day, greated with friendly smiles at the reception area. Given directions for the tent and was left to enjoy our holiday. Kids enjoyed the entertainment and the young lad and lass behind the bar were always friendly and open to a conversation or two. Just wish those on reception would lift their heads up and just say hi or smile. Was funny as some people who you said hello to didn't quite know how to reply. The Troopers were great and the youngest enjoyed the shows they did. If the toilets could be checked and cleaned every hour it would benefit everyone. The only real downside they forgot to present my wife with her birthday flowers which I had arranged but never mind. Further more my eldest came joint first in the talent show so we are going to be back. Keep me away from the Cider!!!

User

Lovely site but here at the min and fed up of my children not being able to use the play park on the touring area because of the older children telling them they cant play on the zip wire.we have paid the same as everyone else and fed up of having then been pushed to the side when there queing for it think other parents need to be taking notice of what their kids are getting up to!!!

User

Just got back from your site...it was all good apart from the swimming...the pool was like ice water on tues on Wed it was still cold but slightly warmer stopped me going in but grandson was ok...went to book in for the afternoon and was told I couldn't because you can only swim once a day...how stupid as when I originally booked they didn't check anything to see if I had been in before on same day...so upset grandson as not alot else to do for him...

Had breakfast the last day before we left and it was awful...bacon looked as if it was got out of bin and warmed up...worse breakfast ever...Although the meal we had 2 days before was nice

Just a few bits need improving

User

Booked this Caravan for my 3 grandchildren Friday to Monday Caravan wasn't very nice at all and the kids were very disappointed with the pool they wanted to do the total wipe out and was told it wasn't on on the Saturday so booked it for the Sunday for the 2 boys - told it was booked then they said it was off because they had to be 3 people or more so booked our granddaughter on it then they rung us with some excuse that some one had pooed in the pool and it had to be closed for 12 hours for it to be cleaned we walked down to the pool 5 minutes later to see the pool staff leaving tobe honest think they just wanted to go home early so we did the same and packed up and left a day early kids were very upset dont think i would ever stsy there again very disapointed

We stayed in our own camper van and our pitch was good. We felt the advertising of the resort was false in the sense where on the picture it showed the holiday park close to the beach as if almost on the beach. It is actually a further walk then 5 min to the beach and it wasn't even a good beach. Pool can't accommodate all the people from the camp sites etc and kids couldn't swim like they wanted to and had to book an hour slot and was always fully booked. Entertainment was awful and only seemed to cater for younger kids under age of 8. The arcade games was a waste of money as far as entertainment meant for the kids. My kids were bored. Ablution was OK but floor's always muddy and wet. We will not be returning.

User

Just back from Withernsea Sands with our tourer. We were a party of 1 tourer and 2 tents. We specifically asked to be pitched together, and were assured we would be, however the tents were placed in 1 field and we were placed at the opposite end if the next field! At checkin asked if we could be moved but was refused. Once pitched it was evident there was an empty pitch directly opposite our tent! Why we weren’t allowed to move i will never know!

Toilets were dated and dirty. Little or no toilet roll, never saw a cleaner whilst we were there!

Pool small and kids got bored! Highlight of the weekend was the rounders game the kids had on Saturday night!

Walk into Withernsea is nice but steps down to beach are awful! Wont be returning!

User

well where to start, the ground was water logged and very very muddy, we got stuck trying to get onto our pitch, managed to get sort of in an ok level position only to find the water tap was right down road near the toilets so had to be pushed of the pitch to go and fill motorhome with water then had to struggle back to pitch, eventually managed to get near pitch but when we stepped out of motorhome we got wet through and mudded up, the club is too small for the amount of people I wouldn't even try to go in club in main season, the entertainment was quite good, the toilets were cold and not very clean and never any loo roll, second day we went into withernsea after again being pushed of pitch as wheels were spinning in the mud, when we came back decided not to try and get on pitch again as rain was predicted so parked in carpark and so had no electric luckily we could manage without it booked for 3 nights but only stayed 2 will not go again

User

We're still here now and are not impressed! Tempted to go home but we've come away for my son's birthday. We're tourers and the field that we've been put on is completely waterlogged. Our car is stuck so we're stuck! With 2 small kids it's a nightmare everything is covered in mud. We will not be staying here again. I've been to some campsites where it's been all grass but they've sorted out the drainage. This place they focussed on a new toilet block which is still dirty so there's been no improvements. Don't know how it why they think they can charge as much as they do. Feel very let down and our holiday has been ruined.

User

We stopped on this site in beginning of July firstly would say the camp site was good ,toilets and shower blocks was below average as they never had hand soap in on our last night we ordered food as was told they would be a 30 mins wait when it arrived all the was wrong and half of it was missing I had a mix grill at nearly £18 and half of it was missing would not recommend any food from them , also while waiting for the food to arrive we seen the waiter go into the mens toilets with his apron on (How unhighgenic is that ) and then he was serving food 5 minutes after with same apron on not a very good experience won't be going back

User

Dirty tired caravan. Poor layout very cramped. With broken and inadequate Utilities this was (saltburn caravan) on nutmeg grove No13. You have to book the pool before you can use it one hour slots there are times in the day when you can’t book as it is caravan owners only. 48 people maximum but could not really hold many more and it only has 12 walk through changing rooms.the staff which work there are helpful and polite and as always do there very best to sort out any problems you may incite dew to manager cut backs and lack of investment.
