Tomorrow our Mental Health Department is joining Shropshire Mind at their event for World Mental Health Day. This fantastic event is taking place in The Square, Shrewsbury from 11.00am until 3.00pm.
Every year on the 10th October the Mental Health Foundation shines the spotlight on a particular aspect of mental ill health and the theme for 2019 is Suicide Prevention.
The need for suicide prevention is at least as great as ever. In the UK, the suicide rate appears to have rise...n for the first time since 2013, according to new figures from the Office of National Statistics.
We are very excited to be a part of this important event and are looking forward to meeting everyone and explaining how our Mental Health Department supports those with mental health issues.

Here at WMB Law preparations are well underway for the Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day tomorrow! Our staff are competing in a Bake Off to raise money for such a wonderful cause.
The Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research for a cure and supports people living with dementia today.
The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity very close to our hearts at WMB, particularly our Mental Health Department and the Wills, Probate and Trusts Departme...nt.
Our Mental Health Department has extensive experience advising people suffering with dementia. Whether they are detained in hospital or receiving treatment in a residential placement or in the community.
Our Wills, Probate and Trusts Department advises clients on planning for the future. There are more than 42,000 people in the UK under 65 living with dementia. This is why documents such as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills are so important. So if the worst happens, your wishes and feelings are documented. If you are not directly affected by Alzheimer’s, but are supporters of the Alzheimer’s Society, you can also leave the charity a gift in your Will.
