I was most looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately the closest I got was a phone booking from a very helpful lady. The following day I get a phone call from the male owner informing me my 9 year old Collie/Shepherd cross was, in his opinion (despite never having set eyes on her), too dangerous to have on his site, and my booking was cancelled. It would seem they are only "dog friendly" if your's isn't a Shepherd or anything even remotely related. We'll be taking our business elsewhere to somewhere that at least has a more honest set of terms and conditions.

A nice, simple well maintained site, excellent location, peaceful area, clean facilities, welcoming host.

The site is easy to get to and is just minutes from the coastal path which is a cliff top walk on which you can walk for hours in either direction of the coast. The sea birds are amazing to see and hear, especially the puffins.

–1 star: I don't mind paying £1 for the showers but the payment meter is outside the cubicle and the six minute timer starts the instant the coin is inserted and so by the time you are stood inside the cubicle, unchanged and switched the shower on you've lost the first minute. The shower was not very good either, the pressure too weak and the water was just better than dribbling out! At least it was hot.

–1 star: This was my first stay, one night only and on a Saturday. There was at least 2 separate groups of people in tents / caravans at either end of the site who decided that the 10:30pm noise curfew didn't apply to them. The drunken singing, shouting and music went on until around 2am. My night's rest was totally ruined (after a long day) and my enjoyment of last day in the local area was impaired by tiredness.
(The only plus about my disturbed night's peace was when at about midnight I had a quick stretch outside the tent and noticed that the night sky was absolutely stunning, real dark sky and thousands of clearly visible stars).

For a modest site, I think I would give it 5 star if the shower was improved and if the noise curfew enforced. It should be a tranquil site and maybe I was unlucky to have timed my stay with some inconsiderate idiots!

We love this site the location is fabulous owners are lovely and were very helpful when our car wouldn't start last visit. It is a charming relaxed site without lots of annoying rules like others have. As for the toilet and shower blocks they are clean and we don't spend all day in them anyway. Looking forward to our next visit. Angie & Shaun

It's awesome here. The site is very well maintained with okay facilities. Staff were lovely. The cliffs and puffins were amazing. Looking forward to seeing more. Only criticism would be that the showers are £1.00 for 6mins and they are poor. For a quid a pop I'd expect more.

Visited this site with friends for a quiet weekend away. The welcome from the lady was very warm and friendly. The site is well maintained and with views and walks in abundance. The short walk to the cliffs to see the varied bird life was easy.
The facilities however are a joke, 1 block consisting of 2 toilets for men with one solitary shower and the same for women. On the weekend we visited there must have been upwards of 100 units on site with campers caravans tents etc. This is one of the most expensive sites we have visited at 19 pounds with EHU, So to charge £! for six minutes in the shower with the slot machine being outside the shower area is ridiculous. Put your money in get changed and showered in 6 minutes. NO WAY.

This campsite is a hidden gem on the Yorkshire coast. Location is amazing, a short walk across 2 fields, climb a non dog friendly stile, and you are on the stunning clifftops. I was surprised by the good clean facilities, the farmer has invested wisely here. The owners could not have been more helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. The views from our motorhome were wonderful, especially of Flamborough lighthouse, how nice to watch it's lights turn on in the evenings.
We normally stay at the caravan club site on the Bridlington road, but it is often booked up weeks ahead. This is a great alternative, closer to the cliffs, on a working farm, with interesting views.

Just returned from a bank holiday weekend at this site. Thoroughly recommend it - the owner whose name I didn't catch was a wonderful cheerful chap who made us very welcome. Loads of lovely walks straight from the site. I'm sure we will return :)

We stayed in one of the glamping pods. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The walk to see the puffins was short (across two fields). In fact it was a better site to see the puffins than the RSPB place further down the coast. We are booking again for next year in a pod and are going again in August in our camper. Facilities are clean and well maintained.
