Massive portions? Check. Plenty of side dishes? Check. Good real ale? Check. Fine cooking, original flavours and attentive service? Erm.....

Can't deny the value but a bit more attention to detail wouldn't go a miss.

Great food and beer set in the Wolds, a great starting place to walk around Highgate Wold.

Absolutely fantastic, food was amazing, we went back a second time it was that good.
Make sure you have an empty stomach as the portion sizes are huge.
The ladies looking after our table were attentive and nothing was to much trouble.
Would definitely return when in the area again.

Lovely pub. Cool after a 20.5 miles walk in the sun. Landlord was charming. Definitely worth visiting.

Sadly didn't live up to the good reviews I've read. Felt like quantity over quality.
