Delicious food, great atmosphere say no more!
Beautiful food and very friendly staff we have been going there for 11 hrs can't fault it.
Nice fish and chips. It also allows dogs. For a couple more pounds you can have fish and chips more comfortable than the usual fish and chip restaurants/cafe's.
More of a solid superior pub than an actual wine bar (although the wine menu is extensive), Wolfies Wine Bar is a good food option on the Skegness seafront. The décor is stylish, the staff friendly and efficient, the prices moderate and the food (that I tried) better than average. There is outside seating and the window tables offer a view of the Clock Tower, Skegness's only real architectural attraction.
I tried the seafood platter for UK 16.99, which includes a larger piece of salmon (in plum sauce), three large battered squid rings, a shrimp skewer, garden peas and fries (I got curly fries at no extra charge).
The beer prices are okay, too, though the place focuses on lagers.
Wonderful .the meal was best I have had. So tasty and really good size portions
Will definitely recommend wolfing to everyone
Meals were done really quick didn't wait long at all. Really nice and loads of it I had the lasagne.
Went to Skegness 1st September. Ate in Wolfie's every evening of our long weekend. Our waiter Darren was really helpful and very patient. The chef was very accomodating. Can't fault the service or we wouldn't have gone back each night. We had a bottle of wine each night with our meal and would say the price was reasonable. Will be eating there when we go back next time.
Friendly services always. Food served being British pub grub, fish and chips, steaks, pies and alike. Seating down stairs in the bar area if you're in a rush or upstairs if you taking the family out for a meal.
We went for lunch this week and both me and my partner were very disappointed, i had a beef burger, it was tough, clearly frozen, not very hot when served. My partner has the chicken burger and it was much the same, poor quality.
We have been many time before and have to say this was the first time we came away disappointed, the servers were still nice and friendly but food was poor
Changed my rating from 3 to 2
Cannot fault the food. Will not fault the food. The food was amazing and filling, and the price was good. The only criticism came at the expense of the drinks, best described by my friend, whom joked about remortgaging his house just for a round of drinks. Nevertheless, whilst £3+ for a Coke may be bit steep in our eyes, if you can overlook that, consider it five stars.
To be fair though, compared to most other restaurants, the bill came out cheaper than most other places despite this and without sacrificing quality or service.
The atmosphere was amazing too. Quiet on an early Sunday evening; other times may vary obviously, but yes. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Love coming to this place food is fantastic staff can't help you enough , thank you x
Good staff good food speedy service
Enjoyed the Sunday carvery. Would have preferred to help myself to potatoes as well as veg but not a big deal breaker. Communication could be clearer on seating areas - carvery only upstairs other menu downstairs. My daughter struggled upstairs with a broken toe only to be sent back downstairs.
Excellent food and drink.
Really nice cosy seating and relaxed environment.
Very family friendly.
Live entertainment starts at about 9.30.
Great for couples
