Wollaton Walkies Description
We are a husband and wife Dog Walking and Pet Sitting service for Wollaton and surrounding areas of Nottingham.
We have both had lots of experience with animals, volunteering for the RSPCA walking dogs whenever we have spare time, so have learnt how to handle all shapes and sizes of dogs. Between us we've had all kinds of pets over the years from Rabbits to Lizards, and even horses! Kate is a keen horse rider but i'm still learning and a bit wobbly!
We are both CRB checked, RSPCA trained, have taken a Canine First Aid course and Kate has passed Stage 3 BHS exam in Riding and Horse Care so you can rest assured your pets are in good hands.
Customer's keys are kept securely locked away and are separate from other personal details such as address and alarm codes.
We have taken our own dog Ruby to Kennel Club obedience training with Clever Paws in Chilwell and she is currently working on her Gold Good Citizen Award after passing Bronze and Silver. During our walks with your dog we will practise basic commands such as recall, heal, sit and stay following the Kennel Club training methods. If there is something specific you would like us to work on or you need some advice please ask.

WHEN IS VETERINARY CARE REQUIRED
Veterinary attention must be sought immediately if any dog is showing one or more of the following signs or if it has been involved in any kind of accident:
- A runny nose... - Runny, discharging or inflamed eyes - Repeated sneezing - Coughing - Vomiting - Severe diarrhoea, especially if bloodstained - Lameness - Inability to stand or walk - Bleeding or swelling of body parts (other than bitches on heat) - Weight loss - No appetite - Apparent pain - Fits or staggering - Bloated abdomen - An inability to urinate or defacate
To make it easier when you visit the vet, write down any signs and symptoms you see and note the date and times so your records can show if the problem is getting worse.

The Breaston Gala turned out to be a very wet one! I'm very proud of our Ruby who won the Most Obedient Dog category and went on to win Best in Show! No one was more surprised than myself but it looks like the Cleverpaws dog training has paid off
