Wow! Fantastic evening. Legally blonde was so fun to experience, full on feel good entertainment. The cast did themselves proud; lovely vocals and super dancing. I don’t know where they get their energy from. The choreography and songs are great, really creative and engaging. I’d recommend it to anyone who fancies a happy 3 hours.

Went to watch The Whitney Houston show tonight and just wanted to say it was bloody amazing. Belinda Davids was fantastic, she is definitely Whitney reincarnated. Amazing voice and such a brilliant tribute to the woman herself. The live band were excellent as was the backing singer. The dancers were great too. The encoure was emotional but worth waiting for. All in all I would definitely recommend people going to watch this. Thank you for a lovely Sunday evening x

User

Went to see Blood Brothers last night have wanted to see it for a long time and we were not disappointed what a show! The whole cast were fantastic they worked so hard all through the performance but Lyn Paul was something else what a voice! She was wonderful, great show great night out.

User

We went last night to see jack and the beanstalk.... all I can say is wow amazing! Best pantomine I've seen in years... Kids and parents giggled the whole way through. Costumes and sets amazing and as for the big giant... he was fantastic didn't expect such a huge prop like that and how it moved! Amazing and cast and crew who make the props and the magic happen all deserve the praise they got for their performance. My I year old said our of 5 she would give it 10 lol deffinatley be returning. Thanks for a brilliant family evening

We had a wonderful time at The Grand Theatre yesterday, to see Some Mothers Do Have them, we could spot laughing all through the show, my sides were aching so much.

The cast were all first class , staring Joe Pasquale as Frank , Moray Treadwell played dual roles as did Chris Kiely. Susie Blake played Frank’s mother-in-law, and Sarah Earnshaw as Betty.

when we were walking to catch the tram, we met Moray and Joe coming out of the stage door which was a nice bonus.

This show is well worth seeing.

User

And was worth every penny

The grand theatre is a lovely venue as nice as any you can see in London. Mama Mia was one of the best shows I have seen easily as good as the London show which I saw several years ago. Go to see Beautiful I saw it in Birmingham it was great.

User

Thank you for a fantastic night last night at the Whitney show. From the very first moment I stepped inside we were greeted by a very friendly member of your security team and the night continued from there. A totally fantastic performance made even better by all the friendly staff and the great venue. Thank you Wolverhampton Grand!

User

Ladies Day what can I say...fantastic! Really had a great night, definitely came home with a smile left on our face after having felt like we had been out to a comedy, concert and theatre show all in one! Superb performance by everyone and so relatable, loved every minute

Just got home from seeing this years panto, Jack and the Beanstalk. We had an amazing time. My daughter, Emily, got chosen to go on stage at the end to sing Old McDonald. You made a 3 year old VERY happy and a mommy and daddy very proud. It was a fantastic end to a brilliant family night out. Doreen was brilliant and the 12 days of christmas was a definate highlight (although the giant was a bit scary for younger kids I thought). Well done to everyone involved and thank you!!!

User

Absolutely amazing!!! Love pantomime's and this was one of the best I've seen for a long time, we come most years family tradition before Christmas (Jack and the Beanstalk)... The staff were so lovely... Costumes were amazing, the songs were great, so much fun... My little one went on stage, and thoroughly enjoyed himself (his 1st Panto) Thank you so much for making our night so special x x x

A magnificent theatre with a great CEO and team. Putting on some great shows and also a valuable and integral part of the region and community. Supporting local community projects, schools, amateur drama groups, learning and more. 'The Grand' works closely with corporate business who benefit from raising their profile, entertaining clients and rewarding employees.

Took my grand-daughter aged two for her first visit to the theatre. She loved it. Simple Simon stole the show. All were good and I have to draw attention to Simon's shopping trolley scene with Dame Trot. That and the wall scene which again involves Simon and Jack and Jill were my two favourite scenes. Colourful and bright, it entranced my little girl throughout. Lively costumes, sets, dancing and singing throughout. I was sorry not to see Jack climb the beanstalk. Some music was very old stuff. The singing was great. Jack was laid back contrasted with the high energy of Simon 'his brother'. The Dame was first class and we loved the tiered cake costume best of many great get-ups. Personally I found the wonderful Doreen out of place and Im a great fan usually. I was also very disappointed with Fleshcreep. His and the giant's words were lost more often than not. A major plus was the HUGE giant. Great. A surprise for all. The show is a good one from the Dame's "I don't care!" Number onwards. The energy from Simon and Mother Earth propels the show forward. Jack, Jill and The Harp beauty sang excellently. Id book again!!!!! Well done production team and cast!

User

Went to see "Gallowglass" last night, the play was good, the young girl who played Jessica was amazing for such a young one. The theatre was absolutely freezing, i never took my jacket off and had 2 scarves on my lap. I wasnt the only one as there were lots of people in their coats and scarves. Im sad to say it made me ill and took me hours to get warm again and still feeling ill today. Its a shame to say that the lack of heat ruined it for me.

User

Why are there no warnings when booking of the loud bangs and pyrotechnics at beginning of panto? My son was terrified, and what should have been a lovely day out, lasted less than 5 minutes.Grand theatre management will def be receiving a complaint, but I am writing this as a warning for any other parents taking their SEN child.

User

Watched Carol King tonight, although the performance was fantastic, my experience of the grand theatre wasn’t!

The temperature within the room was beyond uncomfortable to sit and fully enjoy the show.

With hundreds of people fanning themselves as the air con wasn’t working. Half way through the second half, the performance had to stop due to a lady collapsing in her seat and an ambulance was called-I hope she is ok.

On questioning staff during the interval and at the end, comments “we are working on the getting the air con working” was used on more than one occasion.

With the temperature being so high and almost unbearable-the show shouldn’t of gone ahead. Completely ruined my experience-such a shame as the show was amazing.

User

Totally discusted with the way me and my son was treated....we have been to the panto the past 3 years and have never had a problem it is always a family even with at least 10-15 of us going...my son has learning difficulties and sensory problems and had a meltdown as soon as we got in the theatre...I was abruptly told to leave to calm him down even after telling the staff member his problems, who didn't really care and just wanted us out the way...When I did finally calm him down and went back in to watch the show I told the member of staff we had already been in and explained my son's problems and asked if he could just stand at the back as we always have the back seats and have always explained to the box office staff why we have those seats so he can go to the back against the wall where he feels comfortable and have always been told that that's ok....but to my disgust after telling the staff member if we could stand till he had become more confident to be rudely told you either take your seats or leave..So I had no choice but to leave as I was getting upset because of how the staff member spoke to me.I feel horrified that in this day and age disabilities that are not visable are not treated as disabilities if he had been in a wheelchair or visably disabled I'm sure everything would have been done possible to help accommodate our needs....I will not be bringing any of my children again to the grand theatre. Your staff need retraining in customer service as the customer service we received was a disgrace. We left without seeing the panto and it spoilt the rest of the show for the rest of the family who stayed...We paid good money to watch the show and feel let down....
