Wombleton Caravan Park Description
You can be assured of a very friendly atmosphere at Wombleton, a small Caravan & Camping Park personally run by the Willoughby family.
Wombleton Village is ideally placed just a few miles from the picturesque town of Helmsley, and the surrounding area offers an array of amenities, activities and attractions. The local pub is just only one mile away.
Our pitches are of a generous size - gravel or grass. Concrete bases for motorhomes, all pitches with electric hook ups.
We have a new modern, clean toilet block with a disabled /family room. The facilities include power showers, hairdryers, shaver and power points for your own appliances. Both the ladies & gents toilets have two individual private cubicles with hand basins. There is an indoor washing up room with ample hot water.
We are pleased to offer our guests a small shop which stocks general groceries, a few caravan accessories, gas exchange and charcoal for the barbecue. Next to the shop is a small information room with lending library and brochures, open day and night.
We also encourage guests to make full use of our recycling facilities. We now offer a high speed WiFi service.

Wombleton Caravan and Camping Park
Children are very welcome at Wombleton Caravan Park, though please be aware that we do not permit cycling or ball games and we don't have a play area.
Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a short lead at all times and exercised in the designated area. Unfortunately we do not accept commercial vehicles or panelled vans please ring for more inforamtion.
All bookings require a £20. 00 non-refundable or transferable deposit, with the balance due on arrival (£40. 00 for bank holidays).
Major debit cards are accepted. We are open from the 1st March until 31st October, but we also offer a Winter Storage facility. If you require any further information to help you enjoy your stay we are always pleased to assist and look forward to seeing you soon.

A couple of photos taken in mid-November here at the park, when all was quiet, and the sky was beautiful. And the lake this evening at dusk.
We had a great view yesterday whilst cutting the back hedge.

We've just had a long overdue torrential downpour, and the smell was divine!
Due to the extremely high winds we are currently experiencing here at the caravan park we are aware that a number of awnings have been affected. If you have an awning up and are available to visit the site within the next couple of days please do so, as your awning may need assessing or taking down. Yours, James.

Wonderful opportunity for us to support the North Yorkshire Air Ambulance this morning at Wombleton Caravan Park, by opening the Airfield to the May Tractor Run. 🚜

We are delighted to have the fish and chip shop van back for another season, every Saturday from 5.15pm till 5.45.

We would totally recommend this place - clean facilities, very helpful and friendly staff and in a beautiful area. We visited on 2 consecutive weekends and are hoping to be back before the end of the season. Thank you making our camping adventure a fantastic experience �
We have nearly done our first year here, only 3 more weekends �

The staff can't do enough to help, the facilities are kept clean and tidy

We have done a ton of travelling all over the world the past few years, and there would be few that could be measured with this great treasure of a campspot. Facilities are great the hosts offer superb service and make you feel very welcome. We deffo come back! Regards from Germany!

Superb site. Very well maintained by a welcoming family. Facilities are first rate. No play area but quieter kids very welcome. Peaceful site as a result. Have been a number of times and will keep returning.
Just returned home after a great week at Wombleton ... thanks guys for such a pleasant stay. Site is immaculate, quiet and peaceful and a joy to pitch up. Such nice people on there as well. Hope to see you all soon. Tell James to get some "his" time in ... he looked knackered. :) but all the hard work has paid off, beautiful site, well done all.
Just got home after a 3 night stay at Wombleton Caravan Park. What a fantastic site. The facilities was excellent and a lovely tidy well looked after place. It was our first outing with our recently bought caravan so I had some teething problems. But thanks to one of the owners I managed to sort it. We will defo be back guys. Thanks for a great weekend. I am not a seasoned caravaner and if you'd told me a year ago I would be doing caravan holidays I would have laughed! But, Wombleton has changed my mind, a fantastic site, owners are really helpful, facilities are clean and well maintained. It's also nice and quiet with lots of walks nearby and the local pub is in walking distance and does great food. Fish and chip van also does tasty fish and chips. Looking forward to the new season.
