Temwa aims to fight poverty, hunger and disease in Malawi through projects in agriculture, micro-finance, forestry, health education and schools support. Our objective is to help build a sustainable future for the people of Malawi through community-based projects. By working with the people of Malawi, we hope to enable them to become self-sufficient, giving them hope for their families' futures.

The W. F crew are super happy to be helping these lovely bunch out, the work they do is astonishingly amazing and every little bit goes exactly where it needs.

''It was a wonderful weekend and our fundraising team had so much fun! We spoke to lots and lots of people and were able to not only raise the profile of SAS further in the hearts and minds of the public, but also raise some vital and valuable income for the charity.
At your event we managed to raise over ВЈ2,500 with some supporters for life! We also spoke to 100вҖҷs of people who are now more aware about plastic pollution, water quality and climate change.
Thank you so much an...d again because of your generosity we are able to continue to protect oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife!''

smashed it this year, better than ever!!

User

This year wonderfields found a place in my heart. It wasn't the first time I've been but I enjoyed it so much !! I'll deffo be coming back again. Yes the music was too quiet at times but I can understand this was due to "restrictions" :( but I'm not going to mark down on that as it's not fair.

User

This was a brilliant festival, so awesome I will be going again. I had some friends come with and it was there first festival they loved it.

The hot tub was a epic idea, everyone should do it. Found an excellent talented sir called pirate Joe I want to see him again.

The food was omg and the prices were fair.

Just an amazing place lovely small festival.

User

Sick fesitval, great vibes and amazing people, didnt meet a single nasty person all festival. Will 100% be going next yeae

User

It is now officially my favourite uk festival I have vowed to never go to glastonbury again as didnвҖҷt enjoy it last year too big too commercial to magical touch had gone but wonderfields has absolutely captured the magic kept real and has grown from strength to strength well done guys u are all wonderful CanвҖҷt wait for the next one xxx

User

Glorious atmosphere and music :)

User

First festival in the UK after Spain, Poland and Czech Republic, and I would instead call it "wander"fields; the kind of place where you read the program at the queue, set up the tent and only find the program back on the way home.

Really enjoyed the little "happenings" of music, circus, arts and general silliness, the effort of the security team to help find lost items and how patiently they gave directions to anyone asking.

I would say it is just a place to wander, from the quiet bits on the forest to the deep of the campsite, the madness of the main field, the chill at the chai tent, the good music from the main stage and the tavern and the good vibes of the shade at the big tree.

Just a great place to get lost at! Thank you

PD: sadly, I got my wallet stolen.

Don't take ANYTHING you don't want to lose with you, because people seem to just go to the festival to forage; lesson learnt!

User

Contrary to couple of the other reviews I love the fact this is a small gathering without cashpoints and all the other infrastructure of a larger festival. Selection of food was fantastic but on the pricy side so I will probably bring more with me next year. Loved the slack lining and more things like this in the day would always go down well! Only not so great things were the music volume at night and personally I thought the woodland area was on too much of a slope but all in all fantastic weekend, thank you all so so much! Xx

User

Awesome festival!!! had such a great time. the security was a bit to lax/unorganised, but luckily only nice people showed up. i hope they take note of this and have better security next time just encase! music was top notch and the food was great. archery was a nice little addition. sun was shining what more can i say? wonderfields is wonderfull!!

User

Awesome festival ... really is heaven in Devon!

User

had a lovely time at this little festival! Really loved the hot tubs and the food was great, especially the Vegan Pyramid.

Shame the sound was so quiet in the Enchanted Forest for A Skillz, it was an awesome set but it lost momentum!

I'd also recommend setting up a recycling deposit scheme like Shambala to ensure the campsite doesn't get left in a state, and I'd love to see more art installations (particularly interactive ones) and workshops!

Lovely festival and I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows and develops <3

User

Positive:

Good friendly little festival with a fine mix of music.

Excellent location although the camping field looked crazily sloped! (Glad I was in my van).

Campervan field clean and mostly reasonably quiet.

Great food and refreshments.

Negative:

Alcohol policy poorly thought out.

Ridiculous queue to get in.. nearly 2 hours in the sweltering heat with no shade...heatstroke/ sunburn not a good way to start your weekend.

Toilets not serviced often enough, didnвҖҷt вҖҳflushвҖҷ properly and most hand cleansers empty most of the time.

Worrying amount of pushers and zombies.

User

Lovely little festival. You've used the small location very well. Amazing vibes all weekend, a good selection of music, food and drink, and really friendly staff. I would definitely come again. The only negatives was the lack of cashpoints (wtf?) and quiet music in the forest on the Sunday.

User

Great little festival. Friendly. Not over crowded. Beautiful setting. Only complaint is no family are in the van field. As a festival that bills itself as family friendly, being parked next to a van playing techno all night loudly with a 3 year old trying to sleep was not the best. But we still had a great time x

User

Gorgeous site, great vibe, food and music (and loved the hot tubs and spa). Downsides were lack of loos (some by the main stage would have been appreciated), no such thing as family/quiet camping (even though marked as such), 2 stages out due to generator issues and no music for an hour late on Saturday (I know there can be technical issues but the Rave fire engine was right next to the main stage at the time and surely could have entertained us whilst the problem was being resolved), main acts on too late on the Sunday when most people had to travel home and work on Monday, and lastly a lack of communication in terms of responding to email and facebook questions BUTTT loved it and will be back :-)

User

Beautiful festival, great music, lovely people and vibes.

The alcohol and live in area situation was extremely unfair though. It is not possible to take all the booze in at once (or do you encourage binge drinking?) and we weren't allowed to bring drinks we'd bought on site back in! Essentially penalising us twice. This needs sorting out, maybe punching holes in the wristband for each drink or something. Also not everyone can drink beer, cider or wine, they make some people ill.

The loos needed emptying more often and the blue didn't wash stuff away. Much prefer a compost toilet.

Need more infrastructure, the queue to get in was ridiculous and no separate live in entrance due to not enough staffing.

All that said, it was a great little festival, every person I spoke to were lovely and made some great friends. Really enjoyed the music, with more than one great act on at a time. Maybe more choice on the Fri would have been nice. Best festival I've been to recently

User

Lovely vibe and site, especially liked being in the campervan field as was very quiet when required. We also really enjoyed our spa session.

However the toilets were sometimes overflowing which was at odds with you positioning yourselves as having great loos. Additionally the music lineup was good but not scheduled very well. I love submotion orchestra but am not sure they work as a Saturday headliner as they are so chilled and perhaps would have been better on Sunday. Having electric swing circus and gentlemens dub club on Sunday meant a lot of people missed them, especially as the GDC set was cut so short by noise restrictions / their tuning taking too long. I'm guessing as a smaller festival it works out cheaper like this, but it did let the festival down. As so many other reviews said, the noise levels of the woods stage was too low. We were right at the front for askillz and could still have a conversation. We ended up leaving during ed solos set because we could only hear the bass and had no idea what songs he was mixing. Perhaps you could do a silent disco if you really can't negotiate louder noise allowances, or find a different site. As it was, it didn't really work.

The only other thing I would like is more activities. The archery that was advertised was actually only for children, very small and paid for. I would schedule more yoga and classes for people to join during the day, as the music didn't really get going until later.

All in all, I really enjoyed the festival and will come again, but I hope you find a way to sort the music out.

Cool crowd, nice location and great music (for me). But too quiet at midnight, could only hear people around me for A.Skillz, nowhere to get cash out or pay on card and sometimes you could hear a bunch of stages at same time.

The bars often ran out of booze or gas (to pump the booze) so there were dry spells - compounded by the fact I had cans of beer taken off me on my way in due to the personal allowance of alcohol being crazy tight.

Toilets were good though and would come back if same sorta music playing. It's a festival, you can't really have a bad festival. Would definitely go if I lived nearby.
