Playing about with glowsticks this evening. So many fun ways to train astronauts in the dark we are finding. If you have a torch, love stories and fancy being an astronaut for an evening some along to our Space Station Special on the 1st Nov. Ages 6 - 10.
Join us in the great outdoors for our first pre-schooler and baby adventure story session in the woods at Cholderton Charlies. traditional.storytelling, sounds, rhymes, textures and a good old run around. At the centre of the session is an original Wonderful World journey story, told in character by two storytellers and leading you and your little ones through witchy dell to meet fairies and the dream wizard. We work as a pair to ensure that all children within our age brack...et get the most out of the experience. Take home a little gift to remember the experience by. Each session contains moments where parents and children work together, chances for everyone to join in with the story, movement and music. Babies under 6 months are free.

Just to say to our likes and to people who have attended our events before ..... sorry we've been so quiet over summer. Wonderful World is now a partnership between me, Sarah Gregson, and the wonderful Hayley Martin-Hall. 18 years of working in theatre and 18 years of working in schools and with children and young people each and looking forward to much more activity this winter. This summer we have been focused on creating a really welcoming experience for all families. With two story tellers we can work to engage all our little story adventurers equally from babies to pre-schoolers and from infants to juniors. Hope to see you all soon.
We had a trip to the farm today. Why? Because thats where our next story events are going to be, thats why. Nov 1st - half term. Morning magical forest stories for 5 and unders. Early evening space station special for 6 and overs. Taking the adventure of stories outdoors.

Is it suitable for my baby under 1? .... A: yes. If you have an older one too you can engage as a family unit or group and if just with your baby there are sensory element, rhyming sounds etc. to stimulate them throughout. It will be a lovely chance to have a little adventure together and a great way to really connect words and reading with fun a...nd games.
How do I pay?......... A: At the moment its cash only on the day. Once established I will set up a payment system.
