Alessandro of Woodford Wine Room regularly gives informative and entertaining presentations to my wine club. His recommended wines have always been first class.

So glad we found this store. We had been hunting for a particular bottle of Moscato and this place is the only place we found it. The level of customer service is second to none. Woodford Wines is a great place to buy wine. Alessandro has recommended many excellent wines to me. He is quick to work out which wine suits which person. He is a first class wine merchant.

We use this shop on a regular basis. We often buy gifts for family here and the owner always provides helpful advice on wines. He does not try to pressure us into buying anything too expensive. Recipients have been very impressed. My mother-in-law says the Chardonnay we bought her is the best she has ever had.

Anyone who has visited Woodford Wine Room or has met Alessandro knows that the few negative reviews on here are complete nonsense. They are an attempt to tarnish the reputation of one of the nicest, most passionate wine merchants around. WWR is a friendly, local business selling a great selection of wines. I do not consider myself a serious wine connoisseur but Alessandro will take time to explain different wines and make recommendations that never fail to impress. I know that following a visit to WWR I will always return home with a delicious bottle of wine and a smile on my face. Keep up the good work Alessandro!
