Woodham Academy's More Able Academy provides a bespoke programme of extra-curricular provision for our highest achieving students. Membership of the More Able Academy is based upon prior attainment and requires students to meet strict academic criteria in relation to achievement, attendance and behaviour.

One of the key features of the programme is an overseas visit. This is coupled with a range of curricular and extra-curricular opportunities including the opportunity to study GCSE Astronomy, as well as unique opportunities including university visits, work experience visits and exposure to experts in a variety of fields.
