As a winner of an #EVA in 2016 & 2017 & a finalist in 2018 it was an honour to represent Woodhouse Opticians & be invited to celebrate Lancashire Day at County Hall in Preston by Anne Cheetham MBE JP, Chairman of Lancashire County Council. The Mayors,Mayoresses & other dignitaries from across the County all acknowledged our hard work, dedication & achievements & made us proud to be Lancastrian 🌹

FESTIVE MINGLE & JINGLE!!! Please join us for our annual party on Saturday 8th December, 10.30am - 3pm. We will be serving Mulled Wine, Prosecco and Nibbles. ALSO!!! The Mereside Community Gospel Choir will be singing for us at 12.30pm.......Then the Grand Raffle will be drawn from 2pm, there are over 70 fabulous prizes to be won from local businesses! Since my husband was going away a day earlier than actual date Julie ended up delivering glasses to us late evening. You don't get this kind of service from high street opticians. I highly recommend this local optician. Everyone here go extra mile for you. Thank you everyone at Woodhouse optician xx

Took my sons for eye tests recently - very impressed with the way they supported my eldest son who was a bit worried about having his eyes checked for the first time. I'll be back soon to have mine done too. Lovely environment, great people, great service.

They are simply the best, I cannot thank you all for the support you give me, I have had a detached retina and your support and understanding of the complications this has brought really means so much xx

The most amazing, friendly, professional, dedicated and caring people in any customer facing business I know. I have been with Woodhouses for over 15 years with not a single regret. Stephen's thoroughness and persistence saved my eyes when I had detached retinas, and all the staff support me as a person. Congratulations on winning the Eva award, absolutely fitting and right. Such friendly staff and really helpfull. I went along with my two children for their first eye test, the optician himself was very patient with them. Also the aftercare in helping me find the right glasses for me was was very good. Thank you

I have to admit that when I was told I needed readers after an eye test at a supermarket, I went through to look at the selection of glasses and was baffled, I didn't even realise there were men and women's selections.After waiting an age for the assistants to stop chatting among themselves when I asked the question they looked at me like I was a martian! I obviously didn't buy there. I am not treated like an idiot at Woodhouse or left whilst the staff have a gossip, but like a valued customer by staff who are helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend going to a professional specialist for your eyes and Woodhouse do not disappoint.

I have been going to Woodhouses since I was 14 (now 47). Top class service at all times. Fantastic, attentive and knowledgable staff. Just picked up my 2 new pairs of varifocals and varifocal polarised sunglasses, and they are perfect as usual. In my opinion there is no better opticians.

I can't recommend Woodhouse Opticians highly enough. I'm very picky about eye tests and their's doesn't disappoint. Extremely thorough. Fabulous customer service from beginning to end...and afterwards. They really do care!!

Great opticians with lovely staff that always provide an excellent service and accommodate any needs or requests.

Excellent service and aftercare. I sat on my prescription sunglasses and had them repaired within 20 minutes of nipping in the shop by the lovely staff.

Excellent customer service from warm and friendly staff. Can’t recommend highly enough. �

Can't express how glad I am to have become a customer at Woodhouse. Never thought I could wear contacts but the lovely @[1419022788:Julie Elizabeth Maughan] showed me how and it's been a doddlle. Just had my first beach holiday and have loved feeling the freedom of wearing contacts. Thanks also to @[825700619:Steve Woodhouse] and @[778722159:Naomi Cheeseman] and the rest of the team who are all superb. Can't recommend you highly enough. X

Came back to Woodhouse after using a cheaper supermarket optician.

What a difference I now understand that when it comes to an eye test you cannot really beat using a small family optician.

Will now definately continue with Woodhouse.

Brilliant, fantastic and wonderful! Quite simply the best place to go for smiling helpful and knowledgable staff. My glasses were delivered to my shop and are purple and rose loveliness. Cannot rate them highly enough �

Brilliant service � Abigail chose a pair of perfect glasses for jaga � they were really helpful and quickly ordered in new ones when he lost them (typical 15 year old �) � wouldn't go anywhere else now �

Brilliant service abigail & Paul & Steve made me feel very special in choosing the right frames for me would definitely recommend.��
