Nice and quiet so lovely walking round with a pushchair , could take time. Not massive but price is fair - meerkats and otters lovely to watch and we found Sid the Sloth . Interesting talk and saw wolves being fed. Pleased we visited off peak and a nice outing - we did it in 3 hours including a tea in the cafe

Another "reinvented" animal / bird park that still hasn't quite worked out what it wants to be yet.
That said, it does a reasonable job and most of the staff seem to care about what they do, and the welfare of the stock.
Some might find it a bit pricey but it's not cheap to do this sort of thing properly, or to find experts to help.

Great little zoo tucked away near Langworth, brilliant animal experiences and very knowledgeable staff too. Meerkats in particular are good fun, also tigers, wolves, an dots of birds of prey. Decent little cafe serving hot and cold food.

Had a nice time there was very quiet when we went, just the way he likes it. We ended up following one of the keepers round the place 4 a bit, to watch him feeding the animals, the lemurs were great to watch, spent ages in the tropical house trying to find the sloth, not a pigging chance!! We watched the show in the barn, that was really well set out for the animals, they would come out either side of the stage from a little hole that they would open. The barn owl was absolutely beautiful she must of been inches away from my head when flew over to the back and front again. Then she did it again but was inches from my partners head this time. They had some great animals in the show. We was there first thing 10am with no kids so got round pretty quick shows don't start till 11am so we only watched a few. Obviously it would take longer with kids and there are plenty of seating areas for a pack up or there is a cafe. Very nice place, clean and tidy. It's not massive but someone is trying to do a good thing for the world. I did find it a little strange that the tiger enclosure was opposite a deer enclosure a meter or so away, the tiger was just pacing the fence there.

It was good to see the Sir Joseph Banks Conservatory in its new home (I live just around the corner from it's original home and have missed it!) and some of the outdoor enclosures seemed pleasant (such as the capybara enclosure) but elsewhere the animal welfare was not up to scratch.

There were strong smells of urine in some areas, social animals being kept alone, rats housed in bizarre conditions, undersized enclosures devoid of stimulation and lacking private areas for retreat. I felt sad here.

Having said that, none of the animals looked ill and the staff seemed to genuinely care for them, so perhaps there is hope for improvement.

Very good wildlife park and zoo. All the animals looked well kept and happy. Our grandson loved feeding the meerkats and otters. Nice picnic area were you can eat your own food or eat in the cafe. When you go in look at the board for feeding/talk times. Nice play area for the children to play on.

Only a small animal park (on the scale of Animal Parks across the country), but none the worse for that. Once you pay to get in, to be greeted by the chirping of the Otters, what more do you need to know. The animals all look well treated and, although the site is compact, there is plenty to see if you take a leisurely stroll around the site. Just a note for the photographer - although there are building works in progress, some of the cages are still of the wire mesh type - not the biggest obstacle to overcome, but worth baring in mind. Would I recommend it? The biggest recommendation I can make is, when have the chance, we shall be bringing our God Son's back for a look.

A bit overpriced for what you get compared to other similar places. Friendly and helpful staff. If it was not for the big cat feeding we would have explored the whole place within the hour.

Well organised. Take wellies if wet. £35 for family of 2 adults+2 children was reasonable considering the amenity. Our two had a great time especially at reptile handling time before tiger feed. Good playpark.
Undergoing a lot of expansion.feb17

Just excellent, my 9 and 7 year old boys had a lot of fun. Staff were amazing and took time to explain how they cared for the birds and animals. Much better experience then larger "commercial style" parks.

This park is a hidden gem in the beauty of the Lincolnshire countryside, not far from Lincoln and well worth the short journey out of the city.

From butterflies, through monkeys to tigers you will find something to entertain everyone.

The cafe is well attended, clean and comfortable, and there is a good selection of drinks and snacks.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and are always willing to answer questions.

This is a great place to entertain and educate kids.
