When I lost my sapphire engagement ring, I was absolutely mortified. Not only was it from my husband but it was from a place very special to us both, and I felt I'd never again have a ring that meant so much to me.

I scoured near and far for a bespoke jeweller who I could trust to remake my engagement ring, as I'm particular about sapphires and knew exactly what I wanted.

Despite being willing to travel anywhere, Woolfe Jewellery, in Milton Keynes, was recommended to me. John Woolfe listened to exactly what I wanted and spent many hours with me while I tried to find a sapphire that replicated the one I lost. He made me feel like he had all the time in the world to help - which he most definitely didn't have. He listened to my wants and concerns, and every step of the way he checked in with me, to ensure he'd got things right.

The sapphire I selected is absolutely outstanding and the casting of the ring, also made by John, is of a quality I have never seen before. I fell in love with my ring as soon as I collected it.

When the time comes to buy more jewellery, I will be returning to John without a doubt. Milton Keynes doesn't know how lucky they are to have a jeweller like John so close by.

My husband James and I had an exceptional experience from beginning to end. Woolfe offer such beautiful unique designs and their attentiveness was absolutely outstanding. James felt completely confident in you fulfilling his wishes in the design of the ring he chose, incorporating an inherited family diamond. To no surprise at all you produced a perfect and beautiful ring, which left me speechless. We had no trouble at all deciding where to purchase our wedding bands after your excellent, above and beyond service. These too were exquisitely made and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish could not ask for better customer service. I believe that John the owener is taken wrongly by many people this man will go out his way to make sure your are happy with the ring the service & after sales. I visited Woolfe originally to purchase my Fiancee's engagement ring. Before visiting I had done some some research regarding purchasing diamonds, however I had never bought any before so I was quite nervous, especially as I was wanting to get details on the specific diamond within the ring I would be purchasing. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who I explained my scenario to. Within seconds all my worries went away, as we went about selecting a number of rings and we sat down and was talked through each of them. I was shown the certificates behind each diamond I was looking at, and he helped me understand what each of those features visually looked like against the diamond through the jeweller's eye glass. I purchased a beautiful engagement ring that same day, and they held onto the ring for me for safe keeping at no extra charge, until I picked it up just before Christmas. The ring needed to be re-sized, as I didn't know what my Fiancee's size was when I purchased it, so we popped by and got my Fiancee's finger measured. They took the ring away, and within a couple of weeks it came back fitting perfectly and at no extra charge.

Me and my Fiancee then re-visited recently to get our wedding rings made. Again we were given superb service, our fingers accurately measured and we have ended up with two beautiful platinum wedding rings, with my Fiancee's wedding ring being specially made to fit with her engagement ring perfectly. They also put some beautiful engravings on the inside of both rings at no extra charge which makes the rings even more special and personal to us. The quality of both the engagement and wedding ring are better than anything I have seen in any of the other local high street jewellers, and I cannot recommend Woolfe enough to anyone.

I noticed a handful of reviews that mentioned rude customer service, but my experience with Woolfe Jewellery could not have been more pleasant! I found John Woolfe to be incredibly knowledgeable and upfront about his products. He helped my fiancée pick out a beautiful trilogy engagement ring that topped all other rings in The Centre in terms of both quality and affordability. He even offered to let us take one of his rings to other shops in the Centre so that we could compare them against each other. It was a real pleasure shopping here, and I feel confident that I purchased a great engagement ring.

Came in here yesterday and I wasn't greeted... I had to greet the man that works there as he's so rude not to even approach or say hello as I was standing waiting for somebody. After doing so I asked whether they sold engagement ring box's as I am proposing to my girlfriend tonight, he spoke down to me as if I was poor and had no clue about anything, had a HORRIBLE manner and personality. After saying 'absolutely not of course we dont' in a passive aggressive tone he walked away and went into his back office to which I thought he was getting something that might help me or information of some kind... I said 'should I follow you?' As I didn't know it was an office it looked like a back room for customers or something. He replied 'ABSOLUTELY not!! (Again) and said 'this is my personal back office and said it very definsivly as if I had said or done something wrong! Not to mention he had a phone to his ear constantly from start to finish. after this I went to a another jewellers and explained I'm proposing tomorrow, they gave me a FREE ring box which is actually really nice and wished me all the very best of luck!!!!! I honestly can't believe the shocking customer service in WOOLFE INTU MK, absolutely disgraceful, the guy thinks he's royality for some reason and haven't been spoken down to like this EVER!! And I worked in retail for 5 years previously. I'm actually annoyed that I have to give this 1 star because I'd prefer 0/5...

Fantastic experience at Woolfe Jewellery. I went in for an engagement ring and had an idea about what I wanted and John guided me to a ring that was perfect and within my budget. His knowledge of the industry is first class and the customer service was impeccable. The quality was also superb and deserves the company tag line, much better than anything I looked at in the high street stores! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality jewellery. Purchased a beautiful pair of pearl earrings from Woolfe and the whole experience great. The earrings are beautiful and very high quality, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Very helpful member of staff took the time to help me choose the best pair.

One of the earrings needed a small repair as they accidentally went through the washing machine, but the repair was carried out extremely quickly and the whole experience was very pleasant.

Having used other jewellery shops in Milton Keynes, Woolfe are by far the best and I would recommend them to anyone.

Today we visited the Centre MK to browse their range of Jewellery Stores in search of an Engagement Ring. We were nearing the end of our visit when we by chance happened to pass Woolfe Jewellery. What a beautiful shop front, was my first thought. So well presented and classy. The good experience contined from the moment we stepped into the store. Greated by a lovely team of people. We were served by John Woolfe who really took care of us and shared what I would call a superb knowledge of his business. I found my dream ring in his store amoungst lots of beautiful pieces of Jewellery. It was a pleasure to sit and listen to his wonderful story of how you can view some of his work in the Tower of London, a piece created for the Queens Silver Jubilee. I would strongly recommend this store for what they can offer and the customer service experience. We were also congratulated on our Engagement with a lovely bottle of Champagne. Both my engagement and wedding ring came from Woolfe. John worked patiently with my now husband to design the ring of my dreams and guided him throughout the process.

They might not be the cheapest but the quality and design is much better then you get from a high street store. This is the only place to come if you want something bespoke.
