Our Xfactor stars at last nights fireworks frenzy at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club

A great team effort for this years fireworks spectacular at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club. With more than 1,400 happy guests enjoying the evening and entertainment by our Xfactor stars it was a night to remember.

Would like to send some positive feedback where it's so deserved. I go to Woolston manor quite alot for various function and events at Woolston each year for the past four years. We have been so happy with the venue it always looks its best. The staff are friendly caring been supportive and very accommodating. Would like to thank the team Nicole Trish and Angela for the Disney events put on over Christmas which my granddaughter family and friends enjoying going to each and every year so far.

What a lovely afternoon with good friends, delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to everyone for sharing this day and your love with us; and a special thanks to Lee, Billy and the team for a job well done . The food was very tasty and kept warm throughout the evening. We celebrated not just mothers day but my daughter's 15th Birthday with loved ones and close friends; And I would not have changed it for anywhere else.

We held a celebration of life service for my mother here on Thursday and they couldn't have looked after us any better. The food, drink and level of service was first class. Will definitely return and try some of the other facilities they have to offer.

We have been having such a great summer over here with friends & family, it’s beautiful, local, & the food & staff are amazing I can’t fault it.

Thank you Woolston Manor for holding our wedding reception. You guys were great beginning to end! The service on the day was perfect, All our guests couldn't speak any more highly of the service and the team. The food was delicious and all our guests catering needs were seen to. Thank you for putting up the marque in case it rained (lucky it didn't) - everything was spot on. The buggy ride to take photos was amazing, we got some great shots and would highly recommend Woolston Manor for a wedding venue/reception. Thank you to Anna who helped with all the planning and arranging and done a great job in co-ordinating outlet day. Massive thank you. Gian and Tash xxx

Not very often I leave reviews for wedding venues, but Woolston manor deserve my praise. As a wedding photographer I always seek good co-operation from any wedding venue that I visit. Lee and his fantastic team were a dream to work with for Suzanne & Scotts wedding in September & they gave me and my second photographer all the necessary time we needed to exploit so many photographic opportunities (No wonder we came away with so much!). My sister and brother in law had their wedding at Woolston Manor Golf and Country club last Saturday and it was a fantastic day - the venue looked amazing and the people working and supporting us at the venue were superb. I would like to say a massive thank you to the manangement,staff,kitchen team,DJ and sue on decorations for my amazing 40th party that i had at Woolston on sat. Everything was perfect, the food was to die for the service behind the bar was brilliant and decorations beautiful. The DJ was spot on with the music shame it had to end. Was a night i will never forgot.

Secondly – the Chef Hassan and his team, OMG the food was FANTASTIC!!!! Everyone who attended my party could not stop saying how lovely the food was, how tasty it was, it was so good and there was enough for everyone, it was absolutely perfect!!!!



Thirdly – Lee you were brilliant on the night of my party you could not have done enough and I felt your presence throughout the all night to make sure everything went smoothly. I could not have been in better hands!! Thank you so much.



Fourthly – the bar staff – OMG absolutely brilliant, all of them were attentive, professional, friendly and could not do enough to make sure my guests were welcome and having a good time, Thank you xxxx

I attended Woolston Manor recently for the World Cup event where England played Panama. There were 12 people in my party ranging in age from 10 to 74. There really was something for everyone, the children had a fantastic time playing in the pool, bouncy castle and games. The huge screen was excellent even in the bright sunlight and the sound was pin sharp, like an amazing surround sound. There was a really buzzy atmosphere with people on the balcony and all the tables taken. The food was varied, fresh salads as well as the usual crowd pleasing BBQ food including great jerk chicken. It was a perfect day with drinks offers, great family and friends, the best weather and England winning in such an exciting game. Thanks Woolston Manor! See you again soon.

Having just had our sons Barmitzvah this past weekend, I'd want to rate the service, food, staff and venue �. The venue offers so much choice on packages, but for us we wanted it all done under one roof. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure our guest had everything they needed, and the food was incredible considering how many they had to feed, seriously fabulous thank you xxx

Very disappointed in the general conditions. Greens were to long with bare patches. Difficult to determine fairway from rough

Shame because this has got potential like I was under the belief that this was one of the best in Essex and I hope it can be

On a plus side the 50+ golfers

Yesterday had a good time food was good and staff did a good job so on that note I thank you for that

The worst golf course I've played ever. Greens are shocking and some of the white tee boxes are just mud! I didn't even want to complain in case they offered me a free round as I would not want to step foot on there ever again. It's disgusting, even members where moaning in the bar afterwards.

Shocking service, terrible staff, unsafe for children!!! Stay clear of this place!!!! Waited over an hour for a couple sandwiches and chips that also turned up wrong three times! Spent over £100!!! Disgrace not to mention the rusty saw and live wires that are lying next to the pool area! Lady with the blonde hair at the bar was rude even thou she was the one that took the orders down wrong! The manger think it was dan but could be wrong was rude and unprofessional. The only positive was the waiter that felt awful for being our wrong food one after another!!

I have been a member at Woolston manor for about 8 months. I have handed in 15-20 score cards now and have still not been given my handicap. I keep asking in the pro shop but no one seems to take responsibility for this. I never get any information regarding what going on at the club. Getting really fed up. I have paid my membership and want my handicap as part of this. When I go in the shop this morning seem to be more bothered about when I have to renew the membership. I think that this handicap issue should be addressed and potentially so kind of compensation for the really poor level of service I have had. Please let me know what is going on?
