Excellent day for Shaun Roberts on the 2nd day of the County Championships at Bransford GC, as he becomes 2019 County Champion, taking the Centenary Putter and Gold Medal for best gross. He also took best nett, and the GD Carr Cup for best 54 hole score over two days.

Second day of County Championship underway at beautiful Bransford GC.

Dramatic end to day one of County Championship being held at Bransford GC with Worcester G&CC and Redditch GC both finishing on - 2 to share the Tomson - James trophy for club A Teams. Worcester G&CC will represent the County at the Champion Club Tournament later in the year because of a better combined back 9. Bransford GC also returned a sub par total (-1) to take 3rd place. Moseley GC took the Jubilee Shield for club B Teams by a convincing margin.

Good day for Moseley GC in today's Boulton Salver, with Adam Norman & Andy Goodyer retaining the Salver.

Solid start for 1st and 2nd teams. 1st team secure hard fought draw away at Sherwood Forest Golf Club against Nottinghamshire. 2nd team win 9 - 6, also against Nottinghamshire at Stourbridge Golf Club.

Unfortunately due to flooded greens and bunkers, and with the prospect of further rain throughout the day todays CLUB TEAM HANDICAP TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. We will aim to reschedule for later in the year.

Blackwell GC who will host the final of this year's County Winter Knockout Tournaments this Sunday 28th April.
The Droitwich Shield Final will be between Moseley A & Worcester G&CC A, starting at 10.00am.
... The Kidderminster Cup Final will be between Moseley A & Wharton Park, starting at 10.30am.
The R&A Salvers final will be contested by The Abbey B (represented by John Finch & Ashley Davies) and Redditch A (represented by Paul & Chris Hastings).

It was a great effort by our boys, who drew with Warwickshire to finish in 2nd place at the prestigious Four Counties Tournament, Drayton Park. Staffordshire won the event by one point, Worcs 2nd, Gloucs 3rd and Warks 4th. Nailbiting to watch at the end. Our team - Harrison Leaver, Brandon Sarfo, Harvey Jones, Tom Wakeman, Aaron Bryan, Evan Lewis, James Yorke and James Lloyd.

Final match in the Midland Boys 4 Counties about to start. After a fine 5 1/2 v 2 1/2 win against Gloucestershire this morning, we could win the tournament by beating Warwickshire this afternoon, depending on the result of the Staffordshire v Gloucestershire match.

The County Boys Team in action at Drayton Park GC during the first day of the Midland Boys 4 Counties Tournament. Unfortunately, they lost 3-5 to Staffordshire this afternoon, but still all to play for tomorrow.

The combined County Boys Teams just managed to beat the combined County Seniors Teams by 2 holes today at Redditch GC. That is a combined 2 holes more won by the Boys than the Seniors over 270 holes played!! Thanks to everyone who turned out today, and thanks to Redditch GC for providing a quality course, and for their superb hospitality.
