WCBT #Throwback #TeamofTheDay Beastmode of Germany 🇩🇪 which included players from experienced @hersbruck_grizzlies made their debut at WCBT2017.

Winners of the @alwaysballinuk International tournament in 2014, @michigan_admirals 🇺🇸 returned to the UK in 2015 to compete in the inaugural World Club Basketball Tournament UK reaching the final.
An excellent team comprising of some excellent players, and .

35 years ago the World Invitational Club Basketball Tournament UK at Crystal Palace, on BBC TV featuring top teams from around the world. Good times, hopefully someone will bring it back one day.

🚨ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
In line with the Government's plans to combat the global coronovirus pandemic, Basketball England announced the cancellation of all basketball activities until further notice.
The World Club Basketball Tournament Committee are monitoring the situation closely. However, at this present time WCBT2020 WILL BE going ahead as planned, on the 5th & 6th September 2020.
... We appreciate that due to the current circumstances, teams which have expressed an interest to compete @WCBT2020 may now be unable or not want to, should the tournament go ahead.
WCBT will provide regular updates over the coming weeks as to our plans, please keep an eye on our for our posts.
