Very nice stay - we went with 2 twelve year olds who quickly made friends and spent the weekend playing on the many tree swings. Huge amount of space per pitch, very friendly staff, toilets and showers nice and clean with a plentiful stock of toilet paper. Also, love the complimentary soup (lentil & vegetable) and the music - the folk musicians were great and hugely talented.

If you don't like children or are a fan of a lie-in, probably not the place for you.

Thank you for a great weekend - we will be back soon.

Great place all around. Plenty to discover for adventurous kids. Good facilities, indoor spaces, Wi-Fi, and a great shop with fresh products and the backup you need.

We've not stayed at many campsites but Wowo seems to provide the best all round camping experience for most. Facilities are pretty decent with toilet blocks on each field, or at worst a 2 min walk. Showers are always available along parking and facilities for dogs to stay with you.

Super organised setup, staff seem to know the drill and are available when needed. Thoughtful entertainment and food provided as part of your stay on weekends and other food options that turn up at key times.

The shop is well stocked with local produce, so if you turn up with no food or drink you can go back to your tent with a banquet or just the basics - whatever you need.

The only gripe would be noise from groups of campers that we experienced after midnight, but we totally understand why you would go there for a weekend for a birthday or similar. Maybe the site could be a little bit stricter.

KIds can go off and explore in the woods and ravines - nothing too dangerous, whilst you get the fire going in the early evening. Most pitches I think have a fire pit with seating around and logs are available from the shop.

They have Tesla/electric points for the more eco friendly cars.

Great campsite. Let down by the toilets. Perhaps time to invest in some proper flush toilets ?? They concept of using hand pump toilets (used in boats), in C21 with all the children around is not good enough. Otherwise cool place

Great back to basics campsite with campfires and just enough facilities (showers, loos, washing up etc). Good for kids with rope swings and streams. The entertainment at weekend and summer holiday is good too plus the pizza van if you don't want to cook.

I had a lot of fun camping here with my friends and family. It's a lovely quiet campsite with good facilities and lots of space.

Given that I partly own Wowo campsite you should probably take my five star recommendation with a pinch of salt. But I do love Wowo.

I haven't actually been to stay as I have a Staffie and apparently they are pre labelled as being aggressive. I'm very disappointed after spending 20 minutes reading through all the wonderful things the site has to offer - it really does look amazing and exactly the type of place my friends and family would love to stay. However if I camp I always camp with my dog - that's part of the whole experience & she loves it. So I won't be booking a pitch here & I'll be sure to let all my dog owning buddies know about your breed discrimination - shame you haven't kept up to date with the changes going through on the Dangerous Dogs Act : 'Deed not Breed' I'm scared to ask what your views are on people!

Awesome. Would be difficult to find a better campsite for kids anywhere. Exploring woods, circus skills and bush craft classes, camp fires and loads of live music.

User

Really nice camp site. Great for children as there is lots to explore, swings, rivers, fairy trails. Nice food and beer from the shop and friendly staff. Only let down by the shower/toilet facilities. I would have rated it 4.5 if I could.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, peaceful, super friendly, pristinely clean toilets and an amazing atmosphere. Full range of camping options and facilities and can't wait to go back. Hugely recommend staying here.
