Only his second night in and Johny’s bagged ‘Jerrys fully’ from Frimley Pit 3. The fish went 43.6 and was taken on the Mcnut and Nutter presented snowman style.

Hopefully some of you caught Graham and John down at Willow yesterday for the Rig Clinic Social. Graham himself has got off to a cracking start on the Thames last week. In his own words....
Well after launching the River Monkey a week last Sunday, it was fitting that I landed my first Thames Carp of the season yesterday morning on the 16th. Exactly two months after the start of the season. Better late then never. After taking friends and family for a joy ride or two. I got do...wn to some serious Carp finding on Sunday and baited a spot where I lost one from last year. The only carp bite I'd had from this section. I was buzzing to get back and rewarded with this 24-8 mirror and a double figure ghosty common this morning. I'd love to know the history of the mirror as it looked a far bigger fish, maybe on its way back down again. Reminded me of some of the savay originals. Still made up to have finally caught one from the 'granite section' and christened the boat too. #Wraysburybaits

Grahams been at it again down on Frimley Pit 4. In his own words..
‘Here's my fish from last week. Tatty tail! Queen of the lake and current lake record (44-12). Spawned out down to 36lb. When I joined Pit 4 I set myself the target of 3 of the top 6 A-team members that had all done forty pound, but must include Tatty tail. I've now had two of them and The Vulcan, which is considered an honorary A-team member. 1 more of the remaining 4 and it'll be mission accomplished’.

**Ryan Horner bags Twynersh’s Nina at 45.15**
During a recent session on Twynersh’s specimen lake in Surrey, Ryan Horner managed to bag himself a new pb just 30 minutes after casting out to an area he had spotted fish in over the previous few days. Having not been banked since 2016, he was unsurprisingly overjoyed to see the scales tick round to record a weight of 45.15.
Those of you who have followed the page for a while will note this fish has been banked on the Mcnut on nu...merous occasions but this is a top weight for the fish so well done Ryan!

Barry with a big Linear and a cool capture story thrown in for good measure. In his own words.
'Almost exactly 9 years ago my Dad rang to say he had found a decent carp in a tiny stream that had probably come from a flooded lake. He told me there was a big, unfished lake next to it and I should rescue it from the stream and put it in the lake. This proved quite easy and the 26lb zip linear that dwarfed the stream was soon swimming freely in its massive new home to live out it...s days.
8 years later an angling organisation had taken over the fishing on the big pit and I was invited to become a member so jumped at the chance. Despite being relatively successful catching the stock fish, the bigger fish eluded me until last night when at precisely midnight I slipped the net under the river linear from all those years previous, I knew we would meet again one day! 34lb 10oz of beautiful zip linear.' **Frimley 43-14lb common for Graham**
The roll continues for Graham making it a Forty, 5 Thirties and 2 twenties in the past three sessions on Frimley with 3 personal bests broken.
This weeks tally included Crinkle Tail' at 38-8 caught alongside another known as 'Lily' at 43-14, a new UK pb and his first UK forty Common.
... The big common came as he was packing away with only rods left on the deck, ending what was another impressive session to add to his winter haul on Frimley.

Graham had a belter of a session during the week on Frimley Pit 3. In his own words..
'Here's the fruits from this weeks trip. It didn't start well with a blank first night and then loosing one on the next. But then it improved when a run yesterday morning resulted in a lovely old looking 23-8 linear. Then on to today, which I won't soon forget. Another early run ended with a 30-12 Mirror gracing the mat. In all honesty I'd have been happy with that, but I got another bite so...on after putting it back. This time it was a 36-4, beating my pb English common that I had last week! I only had one rod left in the water and was pretty knackered, so I didn't recast them. But I was happy with what I had caught and was quite confident that the remaining rod would get a bite at the same time as it did before and it did. This time it was a 32-4 fully scaled, completing a hat trick of January 30's'.
Well in G!

Tommy, having not been able to get fishing for a while due to work commitments, managed a night down Farlow's this week bagging the well known Farlow's A-team fish the 'smudge common' alongside another.
The big common weighed in at 38-08 and was taken on a single Mcnut pop-up tipped with red artificial maggot.
Top angling Tommy!
