Thank you and Goodbye! As this academic year draws to a hot end, we would like to thank the local community and parents of Wrenn students for their constant, unwavering support this year. Your enthusiasm and belief has seen Wrenn move from strength to strength. Going forward, Wrenn is an oversubscribed school and we will continue on our ambitious journey to becoming a top 5% school in the UK. What will remain in this period of fast growth is our dedication to being a non selective school that works with determination to ensure all students have the opportunity to achieve and follow their dreams. Ambitious, Determined and Proud to be Wrenn.
Great news! It has just been confirmed that there will be a school bus service for our students from Earls Barton to Wrenn for the next academic year. This is excellent news, especially for our new year 7 students! You will soon receive a letter from the County Council to confirm this.
Our Year 8s are thoroughly enjoying a hot day at Wicksteed Park!
We have a vacancy for a part time LRC Manager for September 2019! For details please visit our Vacancies page at http://www.wrenn.northants.sch.uk/joinus/
Due to the expected hot weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, all students may opt to leave their blazers at home, however ties must be worn and shirts tucked in. 😎☀️🔥
Wrenn Rewards! It has week of fantastic opportunities for our hardworking students. A truly magical day was spent at the Harry Potter Studios with our lower school pupils who had all achieved Millionaires status on the Scholastic online reading program. An extra special treat was taking part in a Creative Writing workshop which allowed pupils to hold props that are not normally shown to the public.
Fans of Manga were thrilled to meet artist Sonia Leong who held a number of w...orkshops during her recent visit. Our school has a large Manga following and they had such an amazing experiencing some of Sonia's drawing techniques.
Yesterday we held our whole school traditional Sports Day; a fantastic opportunity for our best sportsmen and women to shine! The talent and determination of these students never ceases to amaze!
Lastly, today there was a whole school reward day for students in all your groups who have demonstrated excellence! They spent a muddy morning at Irchester Country Park followed by inflatable fun back in school during the afternoon.
