Very disappointing. I used to go there many years ago. Now the birds are all shut in pens and water is putrid. The flamingos were in a mud pond with no water. The birds are so overfed you buy corn just to take home. Not one bird would eat out of our hands. Never again.

Hadn't been for 20 years, loved it then loved it now. The otters are great fun. It must be fab when migrating birds fly in for winter.

Good place on a rainy or sunny day. Good selection of things for the kids to do. Indoor craft area and play and good cafe. Free parking.

A great day out with lots to see and do, with on site cafe, gift shop, toilets. A great variety of water fowl, so it's a photographers paradise for all things wildlife related. Events are held on a regular basis. You not only see the captive birds, as there is large variety of wild birds visit the site too. The bird hides are a great place to stop and watch the little wild birds on the feeders. From flamingos to otters, there is a lot to see and well worth the entry fee, and if you join and pay by monthly direct debit it's even better value. Well worth a visit.......

If you are local the annual membership is the best bargain in the North East. A wonderful place to stroll and meet friends with a nice cafe. As a family day visitor there is far more than waterfowl to see. Check out special activities such as den building and campfire cooking. Wonderful.
