THE CHOOSE LOVE MISSION (supported by Xich Lo) 💚🌈- The mission is to provide the local community in Kampala in Uganda with supplies for; schools, medical organisations, clothing, bedding, construction and business. We aim to help to encourage sustainability! What we're doing in 2018 🌞 - Supplying medical / medicine for locals - Mass clothing supply - Supplying mosquito nets to help stop the spread of Malaria - offering donations, love, hope and prayer - Fun activities for locals!
How YOU can help- we are organising a charity fundraising event at Xich Lo on the 19th September from 6pm. It will be £15 a ticket and all profit will go towards this charity! Enjoy a night with friends enjoying the Vietnamese cuisine and choosing from a selection of dishes (you can even try and have a go at making your own summer rolls!) 💚

We came to the restaurant just to try it out and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is spacious and full of repurposed furniture. The food was divine and great value for money. We had the crispy pork, with rice noodles and veggies and the prawn with rice noodles and veggies. The food was cooked amazingly and the staff are extremely helpful and attentive. We also tried the Vietnamese drip coffee, which i recommend. It comes with the traditional filter as each cup is done individually. It can be served with condensed milk or black. We both had it black and it was delicious. So much so we ordered two more after our meal.



The waiters were very helpful in teaching us how to remove the filter once the coffee was ready and checking that everything was okay with our meal.

My partner uses a power wheelchair and the restaurant was perfect for him. The restaurant is spacious yet homely and tables are the perfect height for his chair. We were also given some traditional Vietnamese sweets to try which were delicious and a really lovely touch to end our lunch.



The tables were repurposed old singer sewing machines which we thought was cool.



We both would highly recommend this place and are looking forward to trying the food and coffee again.

Tried Xich Lo for the first time and enjoyed the hearty food and drink. The papaya salad was tasty and the homemade lemonade with ginger was good. The bubble tea was a hit with my kid. Really good. We'll go back again.

Such a lovely place, quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of Hornchurch h High Street. Great selection of food and the Jasmine tea is refreshing. Very friendly staff no matter the time of day or night. I would highly recommend

Ordered a takeaway from this lovely little restaurant! It was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were very generous, the food was full of flavour and very authentic! Will definitely be ordering our takeaways from here again!

Love this place I have an obsession with Vietnamese food it's one of my faves and after 2 of my favourite places shutting down in Romford I was so pleased to find this little gem

Beautiful food freshly prepared and always tastey will be visiting as often as I can't with this one

Legitly the best Vietnamese iced coffee you can find in the UK. It was such a sunny day when we came so we sat outside. The fried spring rolls were huge & tasty and the hu tieu noodles were a perfectly generous portion. Will be back for my fix every time I'm down in London!

Just had a lovely meal with. Friend here. Had the prawn spring rolls and crackers for starter. I had the beef noodle soup and my friend had the chicken curry with rice. Both were delicious. Finished with the Vietnamese coffee. Would definitely recommend for a tasty, healthy meal. I menu is traditional and the surroundings are relaxed. I’ll be taking my family there soon, the children will love it.

I’m from California, where we love Bhan Mi sandwiches. The crispy pork sandwich was delicious! We also like to drink unsweetened, black iced tea. They went out of their way to let me try Panda tea, iced, promising me that I could change to plain black tea if I preferred. The Panda tea was really good! My daughter loved the curry she chose. Very child-friendly, nice place.

I visited Xich Lo for the first time today as I saw a sign in their window to say they now serve boba tea. As a bit of an addict to this stuff as a treat, I had to give it a go.



I tried two different milk teas with popping boba as I couldn’t decide which one to get, and they were both delicious! The staff were lovely & were able to give me recommendations on what to try.



I’m very happy to have found somewhere so close to home to go & the teas are half the price that you would pay in a shopping centre or in the city (I’m guilty of trying a few places so can vouch for this). Xich Lo also brew their teas themselves rather than using a powder which is what a lot of other places do.



Will definitely be going back for more soon 😁 Thank you Xich Lo!!

I had an excellent meal with my family yesterday. Noodle soups were so tasty and the bahm mi was delicious. The waitress was really lovely and gave us such good customer service. I was really impressed with her, an excellent addition of your team.

I absolutely love this place!! The service is amazing, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing... literally everything Is amazing. I cannot fail one thing. The food is so reasonably priced and so worth it. I have coeliac disease meaning I have to be on a gluten free diet and this place does not fail me. Wish I could give 100 stars instead of 5!! Every time my boyfriend comes to England from abroad, he specifically mentions that he wants to have lunch here � Will post food pics in the comments. Thank you Xich Lo! ��

Had a delicious meal in here with a friend. Great service with lots of smiles, even better food. Delish. Will definitely be heading back. The coffee was amazing ! But the star was the lemon and lime drink. Yum! I had to have another to go! Highly recommend.

Delicious food and coffee. Have always wanted to go, and I went with a friend. I had rice noodles with chicken, salad and spring rolls. Very tasty. The coffee is one of the best coffees I have ever had. The staff were lovely. Made me feel comfortable as I had no idea what I was ordering, and helped me not feel silly. A must go! A**

Booked a table for 17 people at 7pm on Saturday and pre-ordered our starters and mains. Xich Lo were incredibly organised and every single order was correct and arrived in a short time. We all tried different dishes and everyone said the food was incredible (and at such an affordable price!)

Would 100% recommend and I’ll definitely be returning. Thanks for a great evening!
